A dive bar must! Cheap drinks , great juke . Walk-in, stumble out. Great people watching . They get a lot of spill over traffic from the Pantages before, intermission and after shows...that kinda suck

You could easily pass this place by in the hurlyburly of Hollywood's fanfare. Don't. An undercurrent of authenticity crackles with the promise of stiff affordable drinks and unpretentious discourse.

Favorite place in Hollywood for an ice cold beer ! One of the few places with real character.

Featured in 311's Frolic Room & rumored to have been a speakeasy during prohibition for performers/guests at the Pantages Theatre (ask to see the stairs,) this is the last true bar on Hollywood Blvd.

Some of the charm is lost after they switched to a digital jukebox , but this place is still like jumping into a very cool time machine. Reasonable prices for the heart of Hollywood, too.

When celebrating at the Frolic Room don't be afraid to rip napkins into confetti and throw them on your friends as the jump out of a birthday cake .

Ask the bartender to cook you up a fresh bowl of yummy popcorn while you're sippin' on that extra strong drink that you're gonna regret in the morning!

Drinks are strong and mike the daytime bartender on mon, tues and wed is very attentive and nice!

A dark dive bar with Hollywood murals on the wall. They mix a stiff whiskey sour for $4.25. Old school prices.

Good for pre or post Pantages drinking. Or just general Hollywood binging.
