They didn't take any of my clothes , but the employees were SUPER nice! For your best chance, sell on a weekday, and avoid the end of May - students like me are all trying to get rid of their stuff!
The shopping here is amazing with great finds if you are willing to dig. Selling is a different story. They are very picky and the process is totally subjective. Tried it once wouldn't bother again.
I'm very happy with my first thrift store venture. I bought some nice quality stuff for a fraction. I didn't feel the quilt of shopping here, my wallet is happy and I'm happy. Thrift stores rule!!!
The ultimate thrift store is full of Nike Dunks, fur vests, flannel shirts , and sequined dresses . Sell half your wardrobe to the place and cull through treasures to re-outfit your closet.
The E Vill one is sick due to huge volume of trendy girls in the area. Go on weekday mornings, and dig dig dig. Some of my best all-time bargains here including $17 vintage DVF.
A lot of great finds for cheap prices, especially with the amount of trendy girls in the neighborhood .
Great selection of mid to high end . Prices are a bit high, but only on pieces with name brands
Winner of Best Used Clothing Store in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! Picky buyers mean better selection for shoppers!
Wish I'd found this place ages ago - awesome stuff in a good range of sizes and at decent prices. Love it!
Bring your own bag when you buy stuff. They don't give you bags for your clothes . They sell totes for 2 bucks to put your clothes in
great stuff , good prices, nice staff
Great deals on awesome clothes ! Love it.
Moya Hewitt, one of the most stylish FIT students we ever met, swears by B.E. for their selection.
Line for selling stuff is always long too. Get there early. They price things pretty good and you can get cash upfront.
Bring a bunch of stuff to sell and use the credit they give you, it's always great to exchange stuff rather than be stuck with useless closet items
When they reject 90% of your clothing and you want to get rid of it head a few blocks to 12th btw 3rd and 4th & donate to the Cure Thrift Shop
I got to the store around 1:00 on a Monday to sell 75 pieces and there was no line at all. Takes a while for them to sort through things though- they're very thorough.
Awesome miscellaneous vintage and used shit, but generally overpriced. My favorite part: the necklaces.
Superrrr picky about buying your clothes ! And very small space.
you need a shopping bag handy. they are bagless now!
Really check it out here! Hidden treasures : found see by chloe, escada, Marc jacobs and ysl
Space is small but the cashiers were friendly . They don't take children's or maternity clothes . Boo.
If you're in to designer resale clothing , this is the place for you! I got Seven For All Mankind jeans for $17! Ridonkulous. :)
If you want to sell something your bought for next to nothing, you've found the right place...
They always have cute cardigans . There's also a wide variety of pretty vintage jewelry and about a hundred scarves :)
I unlocked this cool scene from the movie No Man's Land : The Deal. Thanks tumbleweed.me
Best thrift shop I've been to!
Just sold my shoes here! ????????
Hit or miss...always crowded
If you go on the weekend there are tons of people, but the selection of clothes is better...because more people sell on the weekend.
Men skirt for $15?? Perfect!!
Must bring a valid government issued ID to exchange/sell~
A great option for trendy , affordable resale attire
Got a vintage fur coat for $65. I love this place!!
Vincent Gallo shops here.
Do not waste your time with male buyers. Better to just donate than wait in line for rejection.
Long line to drop off clothing . Hoping for some attrition...
Bought Marc by Marc Jacobs rubber boots for 34. Awesome place.
Bought a vtg Dior cardigan for $15 and a AA blouse for $18- strange, but I will not question. Avoid this place on weekends and afterwork hours.
I got there around 1:30 and waited 45 minutes to sell my stuff... they didn't buy anything.
Always worth popping in while you are in the neighborhood. The backroom of dresses is my favorite. Remember, you can always have a $10 vintage dress tailored to perfection. - Kristen Taylor
Always great brands. Found a j crew top for 5, and some running shorts with tags still on for 7. And they accept credit cards! So rare for a thrift store. - Anna Libey
Vintage & consigned clothing for guys & gals. Like most places, you'll have to do a little digging to find some gems. If you're a seller, be nice & they'll become your best consignment friends. - @HungryEditor Ben Setiawan
For cannolis, tiramisu, and traditional Italian cookies, the 100-plus-years-old bakery is the only place to go. - Compass
They have an awesome sale rack. Can find really good things for real cheap. - Adam Costello
