The food was tip top and the environment relaxed. Staff were attentive but not overly so, and the wine list was packed to the brim w/ yum. Check it out!
Coffee amidst spacious seating an eclectic setting of antiques and other curiosities. Serves food from an 17th century cookbook and you can buy the furniture , providing it's an antique .
Amazing Food! Fantastic! Very original and very well executed! Great dinner ! Thanks
These packed terrific flavours: a strong venison and prune terrine ; marinated mackerel with blackberries; a hare and bacon pie alongside a bowl of spicy cuttlefish , chorizo and fino sherry ... Read more
Very delicious. We ordered the pork and hake . Both were delicious.
Cool place but coffee 's not great. Cappuccino was bitter, small and cold. Definitely worth browsing round the building though. It's packed with interesting curios.
The ambience in this place is amazing! I really like everything about it: the tables, the staff , the food! Love.
This is now a restaurant run by Jackson Boxer. The potato bread pictured is bomb!
Amazing bric a brac, great tea and custard tarts . The leftover carrot and coriander soup wasn't half bad either. Come for lunch/dinner/coffee. I'll be back.
Nice vintage deco and Amazing place for drinking
Very classy for a good price , stunning flavours
Went to a private reception here. Very nice quirky/posh interiors and good food
I love it here. Perfectly London. Rose Passerille apertif is the perfect star to an evening.
The cucumber water and the Chenin blanc are devine!
Chill out and relax with a coffee . Hook up to wifi and let the afternoon pass you by
This solitary Georgian survival in Vauxhall was briefly the home of the Duke of Brunswick, a German prince in exile who was killed in 1815 fighting the French army of Napoleon Bonaparte.
Good coffee and delicious fresh mint tea
One of the places u have to visit even for a coffee . Skip Starbucks
Order the cauliflower . Order it twice if you're sharing dishes with three or more others, it's super delicious.
amazing venue, perfect for a great dinner with friends
Coffee was really distinctive. The chap was kind enough to pop to Tesco for soy milk too ????
Very odd experience. Food was clearly good. But this is the first time a cuisine itself apparently just isn't to my taste--recipes from some 1800s English cookbook ? Interesting but somehow a deep no.
Very good coffee in a beautiful setting
Great Coffee bar and cocktails !
Quirky and great interiors
A lovely room, but unfortunately, I got the distinct impression that I had mortally offended the staff merely by walking through the door. Rude and unhelpful, and threw their weight around.
Perfect! Very nice environment!
Loved the roast chicken for 2...
My all time fav in vauxhaul area
The lights here are amazing!
Great Coffee , and you can get it to go, so skip the Pret or Starbucks, and head here.
Really interesting art/antiques upstairs
Brunswick House Café in Vauxhall isn't swanky or sophisticated - but it doesn’t set out to be. We gave it 3 out of 5 stars Read more
Great coffee indeed and fine place to hang out during a bomb scare at vauxhall

Starters aren't too bad but skip the fish mains and go for the pork or beef unless you want a dry, tasteless meal.
If you are a kid, this place will not be very good.
Great coffee and the Portuguese custard tarts are the real deal.
Don't order if you're in a hurry. Food is great, service is glacial
The music is too loud and utterly inappropriate
Kitchen closes at 2
Great little posh bar\cafe
Excellent carrot-pie and cappuccino! Try avocado with scrambled eggs! - Akis Argyros
Love this little place. Great coffee (they use Allpress), lovely and sweet cannoli (lemon, vanilla, hazelnut) and great wraps. Reasonable prices too. - Lisa Talia Moretti
Amazing place for lunch, recommend the old spot of bacon with eggs on toast. Then take time to explore the house afterwards. - Mike
Fabulous building and so much to see. Good restaurant downstairs for a lunch break. Never miss the Turner's whenever I'm here. - Bijan Young
Great place to hang out with friends! You can catch up over different flavors of beer here. Friendly staff and great view of the River Thames while sitting outside. - Emilio Borel
