Cadillac Ranch

A great free stop along I-40 just west of Amarillo, this series of half-buried Caddies is a must for a quick photo-op. Free and fun, spray-paint one of the cars!

Cadillac 's placed in the ground from front side up. An Amarillo staple that visitors can visit, and tag with spray paint to leave their mark. A must see in Amarillo.

Free to see and spray paint these cars. If you forgotten your paint, you maybe lucky to find full cans of paint on the ground but be sure to clean them up and keep Texas tidy.

Aww, classic Route 66 Americana. This is a legendary stop everyone should make passing through. Buy spray paint at the gift shop and leave your mark on these vertical Cadillacs .

Free to see. You can add your mark by painting on any of the cars making this a living, ever-changing art exhibit .

This was a car load of fun for our grandkids, load up on spray paint from the local Home Depot and head on over!

It's one of those roadside attractions you must see if you're passing through. Last time out there, a group of men in cowboy hats were riding their horses out on the land. Quintessential Texas.

Interesting roadside attraction . Disappointed by all the empty paint cans, and trash everywhere. Loved the layers of paint on the cars, dripping with paint from over the years.

Great place to go to ease the mind and kinda in a good way cause a Lil destruction!! Which is at times the best medicine to life's problems painting on someone else's property without consequence!OK;)

This place is really cool. Don't forget your spray paint! If you do there is a Home Depot 1 exit east of this place

Cool place to visit.. Sad how people leave their trash just laying by the cars though.. Paint cans, etc.. There's a trash container by the front gate!! Have some respect & dispose of your garbage..

Cadillac Ranch was invented by art-hippies from SFO, The Ant Farm . Their partner was AMA billionaire Stanley Marsh 3. They came up with this public art that is a tribute to the Cadillac tail fin.

Really cool art and fun experience for just a quick look off the highway!

Badass place to go! People really need to pick up their trash though and stop bringing their dogs!

Bring your own spray paint or buy some at the gift shop . A local artist in town clears off excess pain and makes it into jewelry .

Upon further investigation, we believe this exhibit is an attempt by the humans to taunt us for our accident in 1947. Sheseh. Crash one spaceship, you never hear the end of it.

Crazy, quirky, therapeutic, and surprisingly a must visit when near Amarillo.

You can spray paint any of those seven cars. The good thing Is sharing the passion to someone else. Taking pictures will be an excellent choice.

Pick up some litter on your way back. Evidently spray painters are incapable of cleaning up after themselves.

Just as fast as the cars passing on I-40, your message will be covered up by others weary travelers passing through. Free paint and few expression.

Fun place to take people to that have never been here. And, take pictures and make memories that last a life time

Bring waterproof boots if it has recently rained. If you have paint left over when leaving offer it to the people walking in. Dispose of trash properly.

The randomness of this makes it fun. Bring a can of spraypaint if you want to tag the cars.

Bring paint & a camera for the full experience. Also suggest rubber boots or bags for feet on wet days - its in the middle of a field .

Free access, you could be lucky and find a spray can with some paint in it but bring your own just in case.

There are plenty of cans of half used spray paint down by the cars. No need to bring your own if you don’t have any.

A piece of Americana. Nice that has not been commercialized. Just wish people would clean up after themselves.

Great setup. Motel was very nice and the food and drink exceptional.

Sad and disappointing to see this like this. I remember the 1st time we saw it. Before graffiti art was allowed. One more thing "Humans" have destroyed.

If you're coming from the west, exit at Arnot Rd and stay on the access road . If you're coming from the east, exit Arnot Rd, turn left (under I40) and then left again onto the access road .

Worth the stop if you're out here on I40. Bring spray paint!!

Bring two cans of paint! As soon as your done with your first one, you'll just want to keep going!

Cool roadside attraction . I wish people would throw out their used spray cans though.

Do see it if you get a chance but know it is not as cool in reality as it is in nostalgia. Stinks horrible with paint fumes.
