Ever wonder what the love child of a Los Angeles dive bar and a Mexican restaurant would look like? Look no further. Come get some amazing, cheap tacos - you won't regret it.

We come here pretty much every Thursday. The staff is awesome, Pauline, the manager is the best. The food is the best. Carnitas tacos and tortilla soup are my favs.

The tacos are particularly good, each on a single soft corn tortilla , and the fillings are profuse, whether you select the odiferous barbacoa , the oily picadillo , or deep-fried pescado .

I come here almost exclusively for the lengua (beef tongue ) tacos . Where most other preparations are gelatinous and chewy, this is mix of crispy and soft like good pulled meat.

Cabeza taco is one of the best in the city . Juicy, spicy and everything you want in a taco .

Taqueria is the absolute best. Low key , chill vibes and the absolute sweetest staff . Carnitas anything is out of this world. Go for the lamb taco and tortilla soup while you're at it.

Get the usual tacos : carnitas , bistec , chorizo , cecina, barbacoa (lamb ) & suadero (beef flank ). Feeling adventurous? Get the cabeza (beef head), lengua (beef tongue ) or buche (pork stomach).

The fish taco was quite good. Good guacamole . Stiff margs . Homemade chips . Maybe the best for sit down Mexican food in NYC.

Strong margaritas and delicious tacos . Excellent option for group dinner . Be adventurous and try tongue taco .

Very friendly service . Top three are the lamb , cabeza and the pork . Closest thing to LA style tacos I've had so far.

The cabeza taco is a rich, spicy , bundle of deliciousness! If you are not familiar or nervous about “roasted head” just know it’s incredible.

Jersey City 's famous Taqueria is now in the EV. The namesake has more atmosphere but the tacos are just as good.

More like a 7 than a 9! What you'd expect from Mexican on St Marks. Ingredient quality leaves a lot to be desired. This is what gives NYC mex a bad name. Avoid ground beef , opt for $1 salsa upgrade.
