Staff is nice. But men’s bathroom is always gross. Many machines are broken in some way. E.g the incline doesn’t work on the elliptical sand treadmills . In short the place needs a massive renovation.
Been coming here for years, and it's so nice to see how hard working, dedicated people have transformed themselves :) Saw a few of them again today. Fucking Rockstars, seriously.
The parking garage opens on three sides. Saves a bunch of time for getting in and out.
They have an entrance in the lower level of Potrero Center so parking is available. No need to worry about finding a spot next to the meters.
When are they gonna fix the bikes ? Hard to stay in shape with broken bikes , and looking for droids is hard work.
Ok seriously, country music now? I don't see a lot of red neck Correllians or trashy Jawas here in SF. What's next? Polka?
The new music channel is quite bad. Neil Diamond, I mean really? They also play lots of bad techno. At least play some Oakenfold or Max Graham. Jeez.
The interior of the gym is a bit beat up, and the machines etc. are pretty sweaty most of the time. However, parking is easy, and there is a Safeway close by!
Yes the gym has serious hygiene issues!! Could use some updates! But drop in classes r good! Free parking ! Last minute shopping afterwards!! Great location! Just wish they would hook the place up!
I can't say enough great things about the MWF 6am Spin Class with Christine. (I get there at 5am just to make sure I have a bike ). The music and energy is great way to start of the day!
My pair of shoes went missing in locker room while I was in sauna . I should have known coz just last week, a lady complaint about her shoes missing after shower . So make sure u lock your stuff up! :)
Come early, after work is a zoo . Place is a bit of a dump . Broke ceiling tiles, sometimes no hot water, missing cleaning spray / paper towels... on the other hand it’s a lot less busy than most 24s
Fellow 24 hr members. I am the social media manager for GNC. Check out this exclusive nutrition offer for 30% off all items at Chestnut st. GNC in SF with print of flyer! bit.ly/yJ3KZw. See you there!
Have yet to hear English but already heard 5 languages in the locker room . The most ethnic 24 hour fitness of them all
Love classes ! They work you out, just show up! Now lots of classes on weekends too
Staff is super-helpful and there is a good diversity of resistance machines. Some of the equipment is a bit run-down but I mostly come just to swim so that doesn't bug me much.
Needs a renovation
Usually crowded with not a lot of ventilation. Saunas and pools tend to have a lot of people too. Cheap though!
Man I think they need to update the machines n they need to train the cleaning crew at night's. I was working on a cardio machine n the cleaning guy came n started to clean the machine. Strange.
Hey, 24 hour ! 1996 called and wants its decor back! While you're at it, how about improving ventilation/AC and maintaining the equipment better?
This gym needs to update the fitness area stationary bicycles because the current equipment consist of broken and missing pieces rusty and worn out bicycles.
One of the grossest 24-hours I've been to. Yet oh-so convenient. It's a conundrum.
Re-racking your weights is appreciated.
Filthiest gym in all of San Francisco!
Nice gym , but the locker room is super humid and the cruisiest I've seen. Gives Van Ness a run for it's money.
Free towel service for Super Sport members, even though this is Sport level.
The staff is friendly and helpful
The fact that they can't simply keep the paper towels stocked and the cleaning solution bottles filled reminds me why I don't like coming here.
The gym needs to update the kids club with some fun stuff to do and need to update the hours.
Be careful not to stretch and "block" emergency exits, Sean B. might threaten to call security on you if you don't move promptly.
Probably the worst gym in town ... I caught a fungus, it took me 4 months to get rid of. There are plenty of good gyms in the city . Don't go there.
Try the sauna after a swim , it feels awesome!
Just rename the pool, sauna and hot tub area to "elderly community center ".
6/5/11 9.25pm guy said cant turn on ac . I suggested fan - thats just wrong! We should all complain!!
Car break ins are common in parking area. Someone broke into my car one week ago. Made report with PD and local security.

Update the machines n upgrade the look. Meaning change the look up in here....
Good gym . Crowded during peak hours, so plan accordingly. Also def. wear shower sandals if you shower there! ha
The TKB classes USED to be awesome when Andre and Reichi were teaching. Now they are mediocre at best--you barely break a sweat. Libby, Arnell, and Gitanjali all need to up the pace and intensity.
Way less crowded if you can get there before noon.
Locker rooms are DISGUSTING! Half the showers don't work. Watch where you step--someone is bringing razors into the whirlpool area. Gross!!
this is my favorite gym . plenty of machines to get a great workout
They keep changing the layout. And it keeps getting worse. Expect to bump into people while navigating the labyrinth upstairs.
Ocean Ave has newer equipment, seems cleaner as well ... Just sayin...
They finally fixed the drinking fountain !
If you have trouble finding underground, there is plenty of parking near the pet store above the gym
Look out for some girl doing the salsa on the treadmill !
Has a small swimming pool if you like to swim .
Les Mills BodyCombat coming to the Group X schedule starting April 6, 2013!
The lap pool is only 19 meters.
All the trainers are amazing but Erica is my favorite. - Garfield Granett
Tuscan Chicken is my favorite out of their Deli Sandwich selections! Try it out! - JD
