I finally got to visit The Wellesbourne last night. It exceeded my expectations and is now my new L.A. fave! Try the Cucumber Mint Martini and the Blackberry Gimlet with a flaming orange garnish . Wow!

Great drinks, good looking crowd, easy-going & classy vibe. Unlike most bars where the ownership feels that blasting loud (and mostly bad) music is a good idea; this bar has good music

Come early to snag prime seating by the fireplace . Great group hang out in an antique style library setting. No table service: All food/drinks must be ordered at the bar .

Live music is great - current samples and a great DJ in the off time. Awesome RnB tunes ! Way too loud for a date, though. Drinks are so so and they so offer $4 valet parking .

This place was fun great atmosphere for the younger crowd. Drinks were well poured and the music was House. Great Experience I would recommend this place for 30 and under.

The first 2 parking spots outside turn into passenger loading zones after 7pm. Takes a bit to see it on the meter's scrolling message, but it is legit if they tell you you can't park in the first 2.

Fun vibe. Library theme is cool, fireplace is nice, and drinks are potent!! ???? ???? ???? . Wear something nice though.

Parking 's easy (mall/street/cheap valet). Drinks are fairly priced , but if you're adventurous, let the waiter create a drink for you. It's worth the wait!

This place is awesome, let the mixologists work their magic and get creative, I recommend the manhattan . Avoid the $11 delirium, it's good but it's no Unibroue

Always have fun here; service is great and crowd is diverse. More down to earth than your stereotypical Westside bar .

This is the Westside less expensive equivalent of the Edison (minus the speakeasy part). Really great vibe and anywhere that has Strongbow on tap gets an A+ from me!

One of my favorite bars on the west side. All the bar tenders are knowledgeable and the drinks are made to perfection.

Great decor and good drinks. Can sometimes take a while to get your drinks though. Bartenders are professional but overbooked.

Classic cocktails are solid, and the “bartender’s choice” is fantastic in happy hour .

Great library themed bar to stop off for a drink if you're waiting for a table nearby.

Service is SLOW, so you might want to be finishing yours while you wait at the bar for a refill, but they make a first-rate vodka gimlet . Park at Westside Pavilions garage across the street for free.

You'll feel like you're at some secret society's house party. Skip the Valet, you can usually find parking on Pico - even on weekend nights.
