Javelina Cantina

Portobello mushroom fajitas caliente are amazing. Sat outside next to the waterfall which was great. Staff is so friendly and attentive. If you like Mexican you have to go to Javelina Cantina.

The back menu has basic Mexican food and sides. The chicken tacos are to die for. They're super juicy and the grilled vegetables are excellent as well .

Great spot to hit after a hike . Sit outside for solid breeze & views (FYI the fountain mists you when it's windy). Great options for lunch : tacos , taco salad . Ask for the spicy salsa .

So... the service with Jose is exceptional..the view , to die for...and the servings are portioned for two..plenty of food with one serving, for many side dishes... deliciouso!!!!

Rellenos , tamales and Carne Asada were great. If you can, save room for the Bavarian Creme stuffed churros for dessert !!

As with many Mexican Restaurants the serving size is huge! The food was very good, nice spicing, salsa and chips excellant.

As a vegan I always get garden vegetable fajitas with a side of guac . Black beans are vegan too.Refried beans and rice NOT vegan .
