This museum was founded in 1969 in downtown San Jose and has a large base of art from west coast artists from the 20th-21st century. The historical wing was once a post office when it was first built
Take advantage of the free docent tours . It's very informative... Some can make you feel you're back in art appreciation class ...which is a good thing.
A nice place to visit if you're in SJ! Exhibits rotate every few months and the art store has cool gifts !
