Great spot. Coffee made with care. Small soy latte $4. Help yourself to water. More seating than at other Joe's. Grab a cup on your way from the subway to the High Line or Chelsea markets
Meticulously trained baristas give coffee the sort of care usually reserved for wine , cheese , and chocolate . No wonder the cafe inspires such devotion. Read more
If you are a serious coffee connoisseur this is the place for you! At Joe coffee is treated as an art and made with love. There are several locations in the city , so stop in!
best part about Joe is that the baristas are without question #1 in nyc but don't take themselves too seriously. bonus? it actually means something to be a regular here which is hard to find anymore.
Wonderfully aromatic coffee , friendly service , and a short walk from the High Line , but it is bizarre that in an era of mobile credit processing this location is cash-only.
Cute little coffee shop . We sat inside for a while and warmed up with a great latte . I couldn't resist the peanut butter cookie . Crunchy yet chewy. Perfect.
Love this on a calm sunday afternoon. Spacious and nice light hibiscus tea
Good place to sit and enjoy a coffee . Limited snack items, although the chocolate chip cookies (touch of salt) are second best option of they are out of granola cookies . Coffee is good.. Not burnt.
Jonathan Rubinstein's espresso shop in the West Village has been a hit ever since it opened in 2002. Rubinstein recently switched to beans from Ecco Caffe, a boutique Sonoma roaster.
If you’re Australian and miss real coffee , this is the place you’ll find it.
It's tough to be the mayor of Joe's here, but you can certainly be a regular and get a frequent buyer card for the best cup of joe downtown. Read more
Feel blessed if you get a table! And try the chai !!! Mmm... Nice staff too!
Do yourself a favor and grab one of their pistachio & cardamom loafs. It's what dreams are made of.

Nice cozy coffee shop . Ice latte is awesome for a sunny afternoon.
Coffee is great, overall over rated place to hang out though.
They have the best music playing and the nicest staff .
Used to get one everyday when I work in the neighborhood , good old days :)
Great coffee , nice people, decent music , looks like an old Starbucks. Close your eyes and enjoy the brew
Best brownie in the world! I find their ice coffee to be consistently bitter though. It just is.
Coffee is as good as they say, and they now accept credit cards.
Baristas are extremely nice and quick. Good coffee . No wifi though.

Espresso after noon please!
Excellent coffee , well priced, in a friendly environment . Great pastries and I am not a pastry person.
Great coffee . Super chill with good music and friendly barista 's.
I want to be able to work here, but the chairs are incredibly uncomfortable, and the tables are too high for the couches . Coffee is great though.
I find Joe to have a much smoother less bitter taste than Starbucks, which overroasts the bean. The staff is phenominal and always has a smile.
Not sure about best coffee , but it's a great place to sit on a sunday morning.
Great coffee , but remember to bring cash
Excellent cappuccino !!
