There is seating on the first floor, which is actually a great place to chill - cozy-up to a pizza (or a nice cappuccino ) and a good read in one of the armchairs in the back... :)

I have had Vapiano in Berlin, seems to be a chain in Europe. Living in the inner west I am spoilt by all the superb Italian fare in local restaurants . So Vapiano really didn't cut it in terms of taste

Tarnishes the Vapiano brand. The chain prides itself on fresh, quick cuisine. But the chefs here, while making tasty food, take their sweet time about it. Affordable but not the best vapiano

Enjoyed watching the chefs cook great pasta for me. Plenty of fresh basil around to pick and enjoy with my pasta

Have an open mind and don't be afraid to ask staff if you're not sure what to do. A bit exxy but really enjoyed the ravioli . Staff were really friendly .

Awesome concept for a restaurant . Sit amongst the vegetation and enjoy your pasta & pizza , made to order in front of your eyes!

Lunch specials are pretty good value . I love adding prosciutto ! ???? if the queue wraps around be prepared to wait 15m

The pasta here is pretty good, everything made on the spot as you watch...however wouldn't advise here for lunch during the rush ... You could be standing in line for 30 mins easily, very inefficient

The card system is better than the direct pay Australian stuff...but Australia live behind the moon that's why they never will realize new inventions.only bad tips for the best place..can't understand

I like the pizza , salad , and pasta here. The pizza queue is usually a lot shorter. Not a big choice if you are on low carbs - almost nothing.

Great pastas but... the pizzas not so much.. The tuscano pizza was full of tomatoes and watery and most of the other pizzas are soaked in barbeque sauce .

They introduced a buzzer system so you no longer have to wait for food at the counter. Pasta in the CBD often ranges from mediocre to premium but this is a good mid-range offering. Try the calzone .

What a stupid service model... Instead of ordering from a table and enjoying time with your friends stand in line behind 10 other people and wait for the cook to spend about 5 mins a person before u.

Go to the counter, order & wait while it's cooked in front of you. Painful if travelling with a group. Also, be sure there are seats because tables are not reserved unless you're actually sat there.

@Cindy h when you think it's a school canteen than just don't go...it's 3 times more productive than 20waiters underpaid..like otherplaces

Comparing to Europe branches one has less choices, the quality of food is also not as good, but overall still a nice place

Insanely busy at lunch . Probably best to get there early. Not good if you're in a rush!

Used entertainment voucher . Pasta tasted great but wouldn't have been worth paying full price because of the weird way you have to line up to order, then stand there waiting for ur food.

Be careful when answering questions - saying 'yes' will probably cost you extra!

Vapiano literally means go slow in Italian. Seems to be a fitting name :-)

Make sure pay attention on how to order and pay for your food.

The entire ordering & queuing up (standing) for food to be cooked is a joke!!!! Doesn't matter how good the food is, I feel like back at shool canteen.
