The FRIESSSSS. Thick-cut, crispy , well-salted, super flavorful. The buns are so effin good and the sausages are delicious (obviously). Try the mango-jalapeño with sweet peppers and caramelized onions !

Hillary Noelle

So amazing and delicious. I got the veggie Italian and my friend got the rabbit and snake. Be prepared to wait outside on weekends. Try the dutchess = sour/sweet beer - red ale .

Kirsten Alana

Combines traditional & exotic on an extensive menu of sausages you’ll find in Germany & elsewhere with a dynamite beer list & the best frites - this is a must stop whenever I’m in the Arts District.

Clarissa Dolphin

Everything's bomb! The groot (large) fries are barely enough for 2 people, get 2 larges if you're a French fry fan. The blue cheese bacon walnut fry dip is gourmet good. sodas & beers are delicious.

Kristen

So amazing. Austin and traditional kielbasa are the winners in my opinion. Get all the toppings on the side. Don't over look a small order of fries with chipotle aioli

Tom Maxwell

Really great sausages here. I got the hot italian with sweet peppers on it, and that was fantastic. Pair with a cold German beer on a sunny afternoon. Can't beat it.

Adrian Phillips

Usually a line a peak hours but it moves fast. You can't go wrong with a Hot Italian & spicy peppers (2 toppings is too much in my opinion). Get large fries with curry ketchup & chipotle aioli .

Terra Taste

Order the healthy way and try a bunch of Different Sausages .  Choose your sausages then ask for no Buns and Order Plenty of Sauerkraut and Sautéed Onions and Peppers .

Diana Olympia

Food never takes too long to come out and there’s usually seating either indoors or out. The sausages themselves are so so IMHO but nice spot to grab beers and hang with friends in Arts District

Carmen N

Try all the sausages ! Try all the beers ! Expand your palates with pheasant , duck , rattlesnake, and other offerings including a nice variety of vegetarian choices . Enjoy the frites and sauces!

Justin Ordoveza

Great selection of odd sausages . The beer selection goes well with everything they offer. The medley of mustards adds some great spice to the sausages .

Chad Kneubuhl

The best brats and beer in all southern California straight up. This place has a rad vibe too, it is in the art district of Los Angeles right on the boarder of little Tokyo. Incredible beer + brats

Andrew Galdi

The fries are a must (get the chipotle aioli )! Duck bacon jalapeño is my fav. But they're all delicious!

Kyle M.

Went for a Bachelor Party, had such a great time. ALL imports, delicious dark beer . Played Das' Boot. Housemade Soft Pretzel with freshly made Mustard . Was insanely good!

Matt Lew

This downtown “exotic sausage grill” features more than 20 varieties of sausage , served with a great array of dipping sauces to match. But the unusual meats are the real draw:

Akiko I

Duck , bratwurst , Santa Fe, rattle sneak... All tasty! They got a great beer (German and some Belgian) selection! It's lot better than Venice location(they can't cook well ).

Brett WH

Awesome Belgian beer , really good sausages , and the best thick cut fries in the world(?). Lines are stupid long if you come anytime in the vicinity of a traditional meal hour.

Hot Louisiana is the best if you're spicy lovers. Must try fried with so many kind of fantastic dipping sauces .

Eli Reyna

Everything is good. I could literally eat here every day. The bratwurst is my go to, but the rattlesnake and rabbit is an exotic treat.

I'm a HUGE beer lover! Come get some of the best here on tap ... I just Love beer . Trust.. you wanna get wasted and have a good dark beer , make sure you get a Spatten Optimator.. 2 or 3

Chrystal Fairbanks

In addition to trying an exotic sausage , if you have yet to experience Kielbasa ( a polish sausage ) I highly recommend it! And the pesto mayo gives the fries a refreshing kick!

Leilani Carrara

Go for more than one sausage , the ones on the exotics list are really good! Also, be sure to get the frites (I loved the Chipotle Aioli and Curry Ketchup ) and treat yourself to a Köstritzer! Yum!!! Read more

Sausages are delicious and decoration is on point. Honestly the service was not very friendly . When that happens, really just ruin a little bit of whatever is that you're eating.

Sam J.

Grab a beer in line and make sure you spend the required time considering you options. The brat w/ sauerkraut and sweet peppers will never do you wrong and don't forget a large fries with that order!

LA [Eat] This place usually has a line out the door with good reason. We go with a seasonal ale and one of their perfectly made sausages . Love its industrial but cozy vibe.

Marissa

Must eat the duck and jalapeño hot dog ! Trust it! I was scared too. At first I was afraid. I was petrified. Then I also got the Thai peanut sauce with their thick-cut fries . Now I'm a believer.

Rob

The Veggiewurst here is utterly spectacular. So good I didn’t even get around to trying the beer , in spite of the well stocked bar .

EriC B.

Order yourself a brat , an order fries to try the different dipping sauces , and and I washed it down with a nice cool pint of Old Rasputin.

Kathleen N.

Belgian Waffle Fries with White Truffle Oil Glaze and Sun Dried Tomato dipping sauce ...zomg died and went to heaven!

Ludwig Haderer

All sausages are good, but fries with truffle are amazing. I recommend to have them with the blue cheese and walnut dip

Emily Tse

Try the Duck Sausage , Rattlesnake Sausage , and belgium fries - Love the variety of mustards and dipping sauces for the fries - my fav has walnut bacon and blue cheese in it

Lili Romero

If you are eating in you must get the Floris Apple beer , it tastes like applesauce & is simply divine. I also recommend grabbing some wursts for the grill at home-all the taste & no lines !

Amanda Rachau

The mango jalapeño sausage is amazing! And try the blue cheese bacon walnut dip for the fries !!

Roger Ma

Come with a group and order every sausage they have so you can try each one!

Daniel Hernandez

I came here during a scotmob deal and I was thoroughly impressed. Their spicy italian dog was amazing. Good amount of heat! As for beers , I suggest the Strawberry Beer by Fruli.

ROBERTO BURRIS

For you true Sausage Eaters, try the Alligator & Pork or the Smoked Andouille Sausages with the Spicy Peppers , Belgian Fries and with a Spaten Pils Beer and you are set. Add Dijon Mustard and you are

Hotdog galore! My favorite is bratwurst . Great beer selection and awesome fries .

EDollaSign

Had the Hot Italian and Fries with Curry Ketchup and kept it simple w/ a Pabst. Looking forward to exploring the menu and extensive beer selection !

Nancy S

LARGE order of the double-dipped TRUFFLE fries .. yummm~!! and you get to pick two dipping sauces .. my go-to sauces are: pesto mayo , curry ketchup , or chipotle aioli .

If the hipsters know anything, they know links. Or so it would seem, given how many flock to the downtown joint. Serving craft beers and tasty exotic sausages . [Eater 38 Member] Read more

Delicious! Really great food. I'm a fan. Spicy Italian sausage and crispy fries . Mmmm

Josh Baker

The restaurant is split into a bar and a deli front, you order from the deli front and sit at the bar side. The sauces are crazy good!

Danielle Stolz

The sun dried tomatoes sausage is to die for, and the room in the back is super clean and modern. Warning: their water may have cucumber in it.

Taeleng Mars

They have a vegetarian option , vegan without the bun . It’s delicious and they have more drinks other than beer .

Neal R

Extravagant choice of sausages (rattlesnake!!) and wide selection of beers (they even have Uerige Alt Beer from Düsseldorf)

alice chung

Rattlesnake/rabbit sausage is #1. Veggie dogs avail. Amazing fries (blue cheese walnut bacon dipping sauce recommended). Beer selection galore.
