The currywurst and the leberkäse were superb. They don't fudge on spice levels: tell the truth. "Intense" currywurst has my forehead sweating 20 minutes later.
If you're looking for traditional German style Currywürst in Downtown LA, then this is your best bet. Pick a sausage (go with the Bratwurst ), then a curry spice level (3 and 4 are fun) and you're set.
The heat for their wurst is on point. I like their currywurst , it is one of the best ones in L.A., though it falls short of what I had in Berlin.
The currywurst is outstanding. The curry and ketchup combination is savory but it's a really strong and bold flavor. The frites are crispy and well seasoned.
Paprika sausage currywurst . Small portions though. But that ghost pepper sauce is fiyahh!
