My favourite riverside pub with views of The Thames and great food options for breakfast , lunch and dinner . Head over on a Sunday for their excellent Sunday roast !

This pub is lovely! It was a perfect midway point on a long walk from Greenwich to Embankment. It has a lovely terrace with views onto the river .

Super nice pub South of the River ! Quite a discovery for me. Good ales and friendly staff . Quite a good selection on their menu as well . Perfect for groups and family lunches .

Had a great Saturday lunch here. Excellent duck breast and mash , lots of nice ales , great interior, terraces and views . .

perfect for summer days. you can sit outside and enjoy a glass of PIMM's :) be aware that service at the bar is not always fast

Fish and chips are a very good portion and ingredients seem fresh. A very good alternative is the steak and ale pie which I would recommend

Since the refurb this place has gone from avoid the food at all costs to quite decent and even nice pub grub . New decor also works too, less character but more comfort.

maybe we were just lucky but I found that the food was actually nice and the waiting time was acceptable. loved the location and the view !

Nice place and good food, but after 10 min of ordered our food, someone came back to say they run out the soup , and we had to wait another 50 min for our mains. It would be better been told before.

Great Indian restaurant . Delicious and cheap . Nice design and atmosphere.

Plays great music , does a great Sunday roast .. What else do you want?!

The pub has improved a fair amount over the past two years. Food on the whole is above average, there's a far better selection and the staff and service have improved.

I enjoy it here and the changes always come and the new menu looks interesting.

The burger with blue cheese was delicious, and a lot of it! Real nice river views too.

For Americans from an American. You HAVE to order at the bar . Bathrooms are kinda rough. Food is pricey , drinks are OK. Burgers are so-so, nachos are edible; dont recommend. Fries are good. Good view .

Good selection of beers at reasonable prices for London - Great River View ..... dont bother with the food though

There are a lot of snobbish tips here. The pub is fine. Don't order when it's rammed. Lovely views , reasonable food.

Sunday roast is super

Lovely setting but staff utterly useless in taking orders.

Upgrade your fish and chips to a large, you won't be disappointed.

Third trip here and worst food so far. Got the order wrong 1st time; the nachos were a really small portion. The cheese & ham ploughmans had three of the smallest possible slices of cheese , awful !

Great river view - didnt place orders for food as the staff couldnt be bothered to clear our table. Beer prices didnt seem bad - but the staff let this place down ... headless chickens !!

Recently under new ownership, veggie options not great but food quality has vastly improved.

Meal deal : 2 mains for £10.95 Mon-Fri - not bad!

It’s a real shame that the view doesn’t make up for the freezer meal quality food and consistently poor service.

Really wish I'd read the tips from other users before eating here. Service was both poor and slow. Food was cold and average. Great for beers by the Thames . Terrible for food.

This place used to be nice but it's now a complete dump with unhelpful staff , a broken elevator and disgusting unclean toilets . Avoid

Poor food service, they always take forever to get the food, never comes at the same time. However staff are always pleasant enough.
