Built for the National Guard in 1909, the Armory was used as a homeless shelter before opening in the 1990s as an indoor track and field center.
Staff is extremely courteous lovely building great programs for the youth in track excellent NYC program and historic venue, computer classes offered as well !
Always check the website for practice hours. Take advantage practicing your speed on one of the world's fastest tracks !

Track meets most weekends. Some with very elite runners.
Teach your tots to veer towards the inside lane of the track IMMEDIATELY after the race begins! :)
