Meat and offal dishes . Try the mixed offal starter plate (If you can handle offal ). Traditional Roman dishes also available. Family owned and managed in the 6th generation. Perfect negroni aperitivo .
Owned and operated by the Mariani family in the 6th generation. Famous for its offal-based fare - history connected to the old slaughterhouse close by. Nice guys get a tour by owner in wine cellar .
A tip from Frommer's, one of our reviewers, "Many Italian diners come here to relish the rigatoni con pajata (pasta with small intestines), coda alla vaccinara (oxtail stew )..." Authentic , family-run. Read more

Batali: "Go for the meat and offal dishes in the hip Testaccio neighborhood ."
The exquisite menu is not for the faint of heart! Are you as brave as a Borgia?
Open on Sunday
Quality is fine but nothing extraordinary - the prices are totally unreasonable. Am I paying for the actual food or for 130 years of history?
Exquisite Roman cuisine but beware of the prices: it's very very expensive
Da provare: Puntarelle in salsa di alici e Tonnarelli cacio e pepe . Ristorante classico nell'arredo , nel servizio, nei piatti . Prezzi non modici ma si mangia bene.
Super Essen, sehr authentischs italienisches Lokal, tolle Bedienung und Atmosphäre. Unbedingt besuchen.
"La fama del luogo è ancora legatissima a quell'invenzione geniale, la coda alla vaccinara , saldamente presente in menù a rappresentare il cavallo di battaglia del posto (occhio però ai prezzi)"
Consigliato dal Gastronauta (Davide Paolini) di Radio24, strana la media dei voti qui ...

Try the Bucatini Amatriciana - True Roman food from a local Trattoria :) - Paola Roblesgil
The carbonara e cacio e Pepe are to die for! Abbacchio e patate al forno a masterpiece! I highly advise this restaurant. And don't forget to ask for the digestive amaro abruzzese alle erbe! - Jolene Eneloj
