The best traditional Italian restaurant i've visited in Rome. Lovely old-fashioned ambience, friendly waiters and most of all: wonderful food. The carbonara is divine. Highly recommended!
A nice place to try some Roman dishes. I tried bucatini alla amatricana. It was ok. Prices are comparable to other places in Testaccio.

Bucatini , tagliatelle and grilled fish were great. Might not get the great service if you don't speak italian but you can get by.

It has nice atmosphere, waiter was also polite and basically thats all.Neither the food nor wine were as good as we expected for the price,there are better alternatives if you are in Rome for few days
If you're not timid about trying something new, order the pajata . Fabulous. Playing it safer? The Amatriciana is top notch too.
Coniglo alla cacciatora is incredible. Don't just fill up on pasta , leave room for the rabbit !
Great baccalà alla piastra (grilled cod ) and bricciolata (millefeuille and chantilly cream). Avoid peak times (arrive early) for better service.

Horrible service. Even if food probably tasted good, all@our mood was spoiled by bad service, getting insulted by the owner and extras on the bill. On of the worst experiences on a sunny day.

"Pici alla gricia con carciofi " estaba increíble! El camarero nada más llegar nos vio la cara y pidió por nosotros! Sin duda acertó! La comida es tradicional y con mucho sabor!

uno dei posti migliori dove provare la vera cucina romana tradizionale , anche per i piatti meno diffusi (coratella, pajata, coda alla vaccinara ecc.). semplice e con prezzi contenuti.

Per non fare torto al nome, andate di bucatini all'amatriciana e fatevi portare il tovagliolo per non schizzarvi. Onestamente non è proprio economico , ma farete la scarpetta nel piatto !
