Piramide Cestia

Never knew this pyramid existed! Made for a Roman, inspired by the Egyptian culture... You can take a better look by entering the cemetery right next to it. There is a small garden there with views .👌

Amazing construction across the city walls - tours are now available but must be booked and on occur on the 2nd and 4th weekends of the month

This is an interesting turistic objective in Rome, because you would not expect to see a pyramid in this town .

No es una visita imprescindible en Roma. Pero la importancia de una pirámide en un lugar para los Cristianos se debe a la unidad con Egipto de aquella época 👍

Una representación de la cultura egipcia dentro de la ciudad de Roma, junto tiene el museo de la vía Ostiense y un cementerio protestante, 3 lugares bastante interesantes para conocer.

Da visitare il cimitero acattolico dei poeti inglesi, bellissimo pieno di statue e tanto verde. Vi si trovano, fra gli altri, sepolti: John Keats, Percy Shelley, Antonio Gramsci, William Story

È il monumento sepolcrale di Caio Cestio Epulone, morto nel 12 a. C., pretore e tribuno del popolo. Ha la base di 22 m per lato, l'altezza di 27. Venne innalzata in 330 giorni.

Está en mantenimiento, aún asi, creo que no es una visita obligada de Roma.
