Loved everything about it! From really tasty spicy margaritas with different flavors (mango jalapeño pls!) to the good food and great service from bartenders to waiters and servers. 150% recommended!
We split the guac (some of the best I've had), fish (Pollock) tacos (very tasty), tongue tacos (tasted like brisket !), enchiladas verdes (too much chicken ), & I got the special passionfruit margarita .
One of our favorite Mexican spots in Brooklyn. You must start with the Esquites , followed by either the enchiladas verde or the fish tacos , plus a margarita to wash it all down.
g8 dining place for a tequila tasting and fish taco . Mexican food made fresh as the way it should be! Great outdoor and indoor atmosphere. This place has been certified authentic by the mexican govt.
Everything is amazing here. From the margaritas to the food.. you cannot go wrong. Get the Esquites if you love corn , and don’t want the mess you get when eating a cob!
Truly a hidden gem considering theres no name outside the joint. The decor is a definite transporter to a mystic and alluring Mexican mansion. Food, getting to the point, was one of a kind. A NYC must
this is mexican unlike anything you've had before (unless you are mexican). authentic homey foods you cant find at other joints. if you get one thing - let it be the chiles en nogda.
One of my go-to spots to bring out of town visitors to impress them with great food/cocktails and the Brooklyn-is-so-cool vibe. Always save room for the churros .
Easily the most Date Night worthy Mexican joint in the area. (They have a good brunch too.) If you're looking to step it up from the usual burritos-in-foil fare, this is your date spot .
Try the tamarind margarita and pair it with the tacos al pastor . For dessert have some authentic churros . Great atmosphere and service. I will definitely be back soon.
The tacos dorados were perfectly crunchy and tasty. With a great selection of mezcal , beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff , this place is a 10/10
Some of the best Mexican I've had in NYC -- and I'm from San Diego -- aka giant Mexican food snob! Get the fish tacos and spicy lamb . Then drown yourself in a tub of guacamole
Great guacamole , enchiladas , margaritas and tacos . The 3 tacos are a little small though when you are hungry. The staff is very knowledgeable about ingredients
Get the chips and salsas . 4 salsas , each one distinct and delicious. Mole was banging too! Some of the best Mexican food I've had in Brooklyn.
Definitely not you typical Mexican spot. The Coyoacan premium and Tacos de lengue were hands down awesome (and suprisingly had a good amount protein in them), and they had a pretty good guac .
The best carnitas in town so far.. You must try the Plato de carnitas ... My 3rd time here and it's alway delicious.
Brunch is a great time to come! Make sure to get chips and their 4 house made salsas .
This isn't your average 'beans and cheese ' Mexican joint. Be sure to check out the Esquites as an app and one of the infused tequila margaritas , you will leave happy, especially if you leave with us.
The enchiladas verdes are stellar: your choice of filling (try the chicken ) topped with delightful green salsa , cheese , avocado , and crema fresca. Read more
Seriously so good for everything from brunch with family to drinks late night . Food drinks dessert atmosphere is awesome.
Strawberry jalapeño margaritas , guacamole , shrimp tacos/fish tacos , and chicken enchiladas verde . So good!
If you want something different, try the Molletes. I think of it as the Mexican version of bruschetta , which I'm sure is not scientific at all, but I can assure you it is delicious and filling.
have been coming here for years and my recommendation is to order the tacos ;) also awesome mezcal + tequila selection
The esquites are legit, essentially the corn on the cob sans the cob. Verde enchiladas were also good. Habanero margarita will clear your sinuses. Place is super reasonably priced.
Great food, good tequila cocktails . Unique dishes that stand out here=cactus salad , enchiladas with their delicious mole recipe.
Amazing mexican food . Great for brunch . A lot of choices of margarita . Friendly service and fast. Will come again for dinner .
The margaritas are really good. Try a flight of mezcales , it comes with a side of crickets and they are so tasty!
The tortas are actually loaded sandwiches . (The description basically says as much, but I didn't read it carefully so I'm passing the intel along.) That said, huevos con chorizo have a perfect kick.
"I started with a Margarita made with agua de Jamaica. Agua de Jamaica is ah-mazing. It’s a refreshing, very low sugar hibiscus flower drink and..." http://gorealto.com/blog/?p=249
Al pastor was amongst the best I've had outside of Mexico City . I look forward to returning.
Everything is just fine in this place... Margaritas , apetizers , dishes, atmosphere and service. We loved it!
The margaritas are off the hook: go for the mango or if you're a lover of spice, get the habanero .
Can I make a recommendation? The chile en nogada filled with shredded pork , fruits , and nuts and draped with creamy walnut sauce. - Inspector
Whoa, mouthgasm having the Chiles En Nogada . Drinks are spot on too: Zempasuchitl Tamarindo .
Haven’t been here in over a year and my only question is why? Arguably the best steak I’ve had in NY, including peter Luger and such.
Enchiladas verdes with steak or seafood . Guacamole & fish tacos . Pretty good.
Good Mexican for NYC, love their guacamole , great margaritas
Got the Enchiladas Rojas (Chicken ) and Torta (de Carne Asada ). Both were great!
Cochinita pibil & fish tacos are fantastic. Also love enchiladas de mole . Order the spicy margarita !!
Chiles En Nogada - one of my favorites on the menu and in the city ! A poblano pepper stuffed, covered in walnut and pomegranate sauce . yum!
Terrific drinks - amazing food. Try the cerviche it's awesome. Place is usually packed, so come early or make a reservation . Best Mexican food in NYC hands down.
Chilaquiles with salsa verde and Huevo frito . Great breakfast .
Pepino and mint fresh water really good! The pozole and the chile en nogada not as tasty as we were expecting. Nice place but not as promised.
The watermelon and the cucumber margaritas are fantastic. And all the tacos . Just order all the tacos .
Enchiladas Rosa & Paloma Margarita are a must!!
For brunch , get the Esquites to start and the Chilaquiles con Huevo for your main course. So authentic and amazing!
Can be a long wait but it's worth it
Try the guac , fish tacos , and margaritas !! Truly amazing drinks!! Sample all the different flavors especially the cucumber and strawberry jalapeno .
Awesome tacos and margaritas . Come with a variety of sauces , too.
Some of the best Mexican food in NYC area! Cocktails are always on point.
Good chips to guac ratio and the beef cheek tacos are out of this world. - Stephanie Kimberly
Casual. Authentic. Delicious. You can't go wrong with anything you order... and the Mexican consulate signed off. - Samantha McGrandy
I love this place! The decor, the food, the margaritas. Go for the taco happy hour! - Monica Brandes
Very spacious, makes it easy to get into venue and out. On top of that great acoustics. Probably my favorite music venue in nyc ???? - Harrison Johnson
White fish platter and white sandwich are excellent for snacks. Cocktails: Delicious Moscow mules, old fashioneds, and French 75s. - Johanna
Good single malt selection and surly yet awesome staff. Great place for a quiet drink with a date. - Für Immer
