They make their own fireball that doesn't suck! Come early in the night to stake out a space for your group. Great indoor/outdoor space.
Tacos are tiny, Nachos are the best deal! Drink list seems good. Specials for World Cup get better and better as the matches progress.
Love the architecture ! got flour based carne asada and mango jarritos total $6.the tacos are small in size but heavy& delish.it is more for hangouts&hh type rather than heavymeals. would come again :)
de Pescado was amazing!! Had to get a second. Chipotle aioli and salsa verde .... Yummmm. Not to mention the great conversation about tequila with the bartender .
On my first visit, I dug the margarita (rocks), the guac and the carne asada & pescado tacos .
Pretty nice little spot. Know what you want to drink because draft beer selection isn't 14th st good but definitely coming back for food and full experience
Tried the chicken tamale and chili relleno both were tasty. The chicken was mild but the chili was spicy . Wash it down with a margarita !
Amazing food. Walk-up window outside. Retractable roof inside. Open till 1:30AM some nights...Definitely check this place out!!!! #ChefJpimentel ;)
the drinks are really strong! If you are looking for a great bartender ask for Portia and she will lookout for you :)
Tacos !!! Yes. Also good late night when everywhere else on U is too packed. Came here with huge group
The carnitas tacos and chicken tamales were delish! Great place for a light meal and drinks for a decent price. The wait staff is awful though. Poor customer service.
The tacos al Pastor aren't bad. The staff isn't nice. This place looks better than it really is. Come here (already) drunk. There are better bars around this area, so don't go out ur way for this.
Great place for casual Tacos and hanging out with a larger a group.
Doesn't open until 5, so chill at the Brixton until 4:59 - it fills up quick! Good margs , didn't love the pico but the chips are delish
The Bitches say: A- for a solid Mexican brunch with a fun vibe, great cocktails , and solid grub. Read more
Queso , tamales , nachos . Really everything is delicious.
Best margs around. Don't drink more than a couple, they're strong
Amazing tacos ! Carne asada , fish and al pastor is a killer threesome.
Order tacos al pastor , my favorite!!
The tamales are $5 because they're huge. Best tacos are al pastor .
Margaritas are a standard, but they actually have really good sangria , too.
The semi-open air patio is great for day drinking .
Gets very crowded , and there's no systematic way to wait for a table, so I found it quite stressful.
Killer tacos and dance hall music . What's not to love?
This is my nightmare. This is my nightmare
Think of this as a drinks place that happens to serve food (small tacos , drowned in sauce) and you'll feel better.
Heavy on the twenty-something frat and sorority type crowd. Also, open air patio means numerous cigarette smokers.
Queso , do it. Margs are solid, go during happy hour 18 buck carafes .
Noisy but excellent tacos .
Sometimes they have frozen margaritas
While I'm partial to on-the-rocks, the frozen margarita is more bang for your buck.
Nice waitress but this place is incredibly short staffed. One waitress working the entire outdoor area is not enough. We waited for over an hour and our food still didn't come.
Cool little container bar in DC.
Tacos fall apart , guac is made out of cream not avacados
Lively outdoor space on a Thursday night.

The michelada was on point. The horchata was not.
Even if you are drunk, this is piss poor Mexican food .
The rajas tamales !
meh crowd, meh food, meh service. el chucho up the hill is same concept executed 1000 times better.
shrimp tacos !
Every song sounds like the Harlem Shake
You only need to pitchers lol
Bring a coat!
Food is over-priced and underwhelming, but at least they appear to use real lime juice for their 'rita's instead of day-glo green sour-mix crap.
Mexican Fireball shots. That is all.
Shipping containers+drunk girls at the corner table = loud
Worst tamale I have ever been served. Dry meat, slimy and soaking wet exterior, flavorless...just awful.
Meh. Over priced. Not my cup of tea .
Chile relleno tamale is terrible. Inedible. Worst dish of 2014. No kidding.
Chicken burrito bowl is tasty, and they usually have it ready in less than 3 min. - Matt Silverman
The tacos are great - try the tuna! The margaritas are amazing. And the service is always top notch! - Courtney
Really cool place for a show. Try to get there early for the upstairs stools. Overall, very fun! Bathrooms were also very clean (at least early on). - Melissa Goodnight
Everything the Service is Excellent and the Performances are Excellent also - Tameka Terrell
If you'd like to have the greatest combo possible get blueberry pancakes, fish tacos and fried chicken - Max Frankel
