The steaks were the most expensive food item I've ever bought and it was worth every penny. Best jazz in KC. Also, the bartender gives you massive pours of spirits (at least the rye ).
Great Jazz & atmosphere! For dinner the fried risotto or Shrimp Lejon are a hit. The steaks are dry ages and I loved the Prime Ribeye – mouthwatering! If not the New Zealand Lamb Rack is perfect.
Nostalgic atmosphere with yummy food! Got the specialty, a pepper rubbed filet, a bit too much pepper so go with the regular filet. Loved the jazz band !
Few restaurant in KC are able to combine Great food with Live Jazz . The Majestic does. 2 hours of great food and entertainment... The Bison Steak was great.
Delicious steak dinner , great service with friendly staff , smooth jazz , and fantastic creme brûlée dessert ... Will definitely be back next time I'm in KC!!
Wow. More than a fantastic restaurant with great food, great music and impeccable service . An experience! The bison was excellent.
AWESOME food and atmosphere. Dont expect to be rushed, the staff expects you to take your time and enjoy your food and the live Jazz .
One of the best places I've eaten - great food, great service, great atmosphere! Pricey , but a fine place to go.
Majestic fries are very, very good. I recommend the Salmon BLT , but order the aoli on the side - they go a bit overboard with it.
Come here if you like to tell your waitress you want a porterhouse medium rare but really mean medium well . The chef 's temperature control problems notwithstanding, it's sweet vibe in downtown KC.
Great staff , great food, piano jazz while you brunch . Sunday brunch day at the majestic. Always.
The food still rocks. Order your happy hour burger medium rare. The steak fries are actual potatoes
Love whiskey ? The Barrel Aged Manhattan is your after-dinner drink.
The. Best. In KC. Be sure to get a table downstairs.
Amazing live music . Get a table, downstairs in front in Saturday nights.
Everything
Can't go wrong with the happy hour ! Great food and drinks
Check out the Mark Lowry Trio in the basement on Sunday and Monday nights!
Great service. Good food. Very pricey . Great entertainment. Interesting atmosphere.
A great west downtown restaurant with exceptional staff . The Salmon BLT is my usual.
Great brunch , reasonably priced steaks
Omg. Happy hour is unreal. Talk about a generous pour
Scott is one of the best servers I have ever had!
Their steak is amazing.
The spot to be for a chill night of jazz on Saturdays.
Good food great service.
Manhattan and steak and jazz
It's a Kansas City standard.
Great food, great bartenders .
Sean is the best bartender in KC, amazing cocktails .

Good music . Food was ok, but the presentation was the best part.
Ted is our server...he's awesome..good music .
Kansas City's Restaurant Week is a good time to try out their awesome KC Strip and listen to some KC jazz .
Um, elderberry ombre... Wow. Yes!
Great Atmosphere
The Jazz is a bit ragtime. The Majestic Steak is very good if you like au poiuve.
brunch w/ live music 11-1 on sundays
Bram wijnands plays every saturday night!!
Lamb chops
Not the same. Bartender is an arrogant prick. The rest of the staff stand around and talk to one another.
Awful service downstairs. Music was good but lots of empty tables on a Saturday night. Probably for a reason. Bartender was a real jerk.
Good jazz .
Service sucks and two out of five meals were wrong... Thumbs down.
A wonderful selection of whiskeys and bourbons. Ben is the best bartender Ev-ar. - Rhonda Taylor
