All is good here at the Mekong on Swanston. Authentic Vietnamese street food cafe . Pricing is good and not a rip off. If you want good Pho come visit. I've done Vietnam and this is as good as it gets

One of the oldest pho restaurants in Melbourne, been coming here since '96. Authentic and crowded , so if you are eating by yourself, be prepared to share a table.

Great vietname food, you can't go wrong with the beef pho . Glad I didn't travel here pho nothing. For you in-pho-mation, this places opens till 11pm on Friday and Saturday.

Just get the beef pho . The broth was so flavorful. Quite a big portion for AUD10. Highly recommended if ur looking for some pho on a cold winter day/night.

I always make a point to eat here when in Melbourne. I love the pho here. I usually go for the number 10 (brisket & beef slices )

Special beef noodles is gd. Share d medium bowl if u r a small eater. The fried spring roll - while nice- is not the authentic type found in Vietnam . It's more like d Chinese Dimsum spring roll

Cash only , crowded , messy, no frills & churn-em-out service... but a good bowl of pho and an authentic vibe. Known as Bill Clinton's pho spot, and probably worth a try if pho is your jam !

The restaurant boasts that even Bill Clinton ordered two bowls of their delicious Pho - agree totally with that! A must try in Melbourne!

Good value for money beef pho . Beef is tender. Portions r adequate (even for "small" version). Order at table service, with free tea . Soup has lots of MSG tho. Crowded , be prepared to share tables.

Definitely a bowl of beef pho ! I love to put some pickled onions in my soup , so yum! Small portion is enough for me. ????????

Loved the special pork chop with broken rice . Go there slightly earlier or you may not get a table.

Cozy & authentic feel. Vegetarian options are limited but food was okay for $10. Make sure to add all the toppings to the vegetable pho to add flavour!

Their beef pho is still the biggest bowl, great value . Service is quick to seat and prompt to serve. Need to be comfortable with a crowded place tho.

Beef noodles with bone marrow is my fav! Very aromatic & fragrant soup and the soft texture of marrow is very nice

Super yummy broth, fast service . Pickled onions give an extra kick which makes it tastier.

Opens till late on weekends so if you're looking for a spot of comfort food , this is the place to be.

Excellent pho , rice paper rolls and noodle salads . Top it off with a four colour drink or custard apple smoothie .

Huge size for one portion, delicious rice noodle and you should try the chargrilled pork ! It's great! The prices are not really expensive !

Had the chic fillet pho noodles soup . The chic breast is too huge. Prefer it in smaller pcs. Think the beef pho is more appetizing . Overall taste is quite good. Rating:5/10.

The pho is said to have healing qualities and served as a hangover cure on many a Monday. I have also noticed a significant improvement in my bad knee and hair regrowth after a few visits.

Place the sprouts, basil and some chilies in the soup , then squeeze some lemon in. Stir and savor the broth! Perfect for a cold autumn/winter night.

Least romantic lighting I've ever seen? My next tip will be more informed and less judgmental because I do plan on giving this place a chance; I just hope I don't accidentally break up with my lady.

If your vegetarian there aren't many options. Vegetable pho is quite bland. Very busy but if you don't like sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers slurping soup , this isn't for you.

The pho is great, but also consider he broken rice with pork chop . It's simple but fantastic.

I didn't visit during peak time and can see staff having their meal. Service is ridiculously terrible and I feel so un-welcomed when I ask for a menu while the food is only on average.

Pho is good. Can add some chilis in if you like spicy

The chicken soup is great but I think they have traduced the amount of chicken in the soup ! so we had to order a side of chicken .

Pho with Beef Slices was good but did not change my life. MSG detected as I was literally very thirsty after drinking the broth. Would I come back again? Maybe not. -Penang Kia Food Critique-

Ironically, I would recommend only to go during peak hour. Service is already mediocre during these times, it is, quite simply, dreadful outside of these hours. I find the food quite good, though.
