If you're goning to have a local you may as well have one of the best in Birmingham. Great pub food and top beer . Fantastic garden well worth a visit in Summer, or to avoid the lunch-time crowds.

It's THE best pub in Brum. Well worth the walk out of the city centre. Beer garden is great all year round. There's ping-pong too!
Get there early i.e. between 6 and 7 on a Saturday if you are with 4 or more and want to stay for the evening DJ .

Was looking forward to visiting The Lord Cliften on a Friday night. I was disappointed when I had to pay £5 for entry (pub fail!) and drinks were all served in plastic cups. Great music though.
