The staff has a lot of attitude for no reason (especially the "gracious" girls who man the hostess stand) but if you know that going in, you can still enjoy some delicious cocktails .

Frank Rimalovski

Very good food, great bar , excellent service and awesome atmosphere at bar and in dining room. Nice to sit on deck. Same owners as Traprock, Roots, 3West, etc. so… (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more

My wife and I love this place. If you're just dining for two, sit at the bar , the two tops are all crowded together in one room. It feels like a date factory .

James Kiernan

Love this spot. Everything including apps, flatbreads , entrees and desserts are fantastic. Big fan of bread pudding . Outstanding service ! Enjoy!

Clint Taylor

Awesome date place , wife got the filet and loved it. I got the seasonal scallops and truffle mac n cheese . All top notch. Free valet parking and hip bar . We will be back!

Kazem Edmond

Excellent service . Excellent cocktails . And the food is fresh and delicious.

Mo

Pulled pork sandwich , Mac & cheese are both winners. Leave room for dessert ; the menu has something for everyone.

Susan ????

Great atmosphere & delicious food. Great way to stay cozy during a snow storm.

Mari

Love the coziness of this place!! Nice Australian Cab. Great service

Dan B

Adam J. Wilson

Had my high school graduation party here- love it love it love it! Great architecture , wonderful food, my birth town ! :)

Lucia

Hangar steak , Cowboy steak , truffled mac n' cheese .....endless wine list and beer brewed in another of their restaurants

Matthew Traub

Get the pulled pork mac & cheese as a side and roll home happy.

Stuart Kuntz

Solid semi-upscale American cuisine . Perfect for date night .

Leighton Naisbitt

Fresh Mint Lemonade , angry Shrimp Rolls and House Frites

Emil H

There's a fireplace by the bar , and another upstairs in the loft dining space.

Jeff Goldberg

They didn't have Captain Morgan but meal was excellent

Thomas C

Food is great but service suspect. Waiter made a hefty pour of $100 bottle of wine into fresh glass that was filthy inside and out. Waiter brought new glass but made no accommodation for lost wine .

Caroline Gosselin

Crispy calamari and frisée salad is to die for!

Pulled pork Mac n' cheese is amazing!

Joni B

Was looking forward to the veg/burrata & bone marrow on 9/16 online menu only to find it was not on printed menu. When ?'d Brad said the menus were reprinted after running out. REALLY? REPRINTED?

Christian

Good food, comfy place.

Wayne LaBar

Here on Sat.? Go the bar & meet Tony, Joe, Dominic. Decide who is Moe, Curley, & Larry! Great bunch of guys.

Kristen Marie

Pretty good food, thoughtful farm to table menu. Service was embarrassing, that was very unfortunate

Mike McGough

Try the monk fish if its on the menu

Brian Bieniowski

The food is good if you have a high tolerance for the adjectives your server will rely upon to describe a distinctly average meal. They were also pushy about selling bottles of wine . Off-putting.

Michael Turci

Truffled mac n' cheese is a must try.

Wayne LaBar

Late June '12 - need a nice summer white? Try the Albarino from Acha Blanca

Ting

Came here for dinner before and it was great. Lunch on the weekends is subpar, with terrible waitstaff . Sorely disappointed.

Catherine Mullen

Dinner last night, Fantastic tuna appetizer and great mussels . Always good martini's

Emil H

$40 corkage fee applies if you BYO

Dan Sohayda

Probably better suited for dinner than lunch .

Denise Quadrel

Consistently amazing food. Menu changes every day. Luis is the best waiter

Freyja Balmer

Whoa. Food not bad but tough steak and idiotic wait staff , plus insane interlude with clockwork orange valet parking guys running around the dining room hunting down owner of keys. Wtf

Dorrie B

Truffled macaroni side is AMAZING!

Cheryl Brennan

Great drinks

Ross Wissner

Calamari salad is great, just ask for light dressing

Bryant Bello

Oysters / seafood tower. The Cowboy dry aged steak is surreal. Every side order is great. The fried calamari with cherry peppers to die for. You can’t miss at Roots. - Steve
