Recommended Escargot !!! Tartare was ok and meat in general is tasty and properly. This local is an historical (over a century of history) place in Paris and anything has changed. A bit "Turistic".
Very characteristic restaurant in Paris. If you want to try the typical Parisienne cuisine you must visit Polidor. The restaurant it was also the set of Woody Allen 's "Midnight in Paris ".
Super old school French. Great prix fixe menu (get the lentil soup with Foie Gras !) if you want steak frites get it a la carte (the one on the prix fixe menu isn't great)
This IS an experience. The place opened up in 1845, still accepts cash only and still uses same toilet tech as 160+ years ago. But a dinner here is unforgettable! Must see, absolutely!
Legendary place, still keeping its uniqueness over the years. The likes of Hemingway ate here and the quality of food is excellent. Remember: no reservations , cash only . Remarkable wine list .
It is a different experience. If you don't know french it is hard to communicate with old waiter lady. Food is good, excellent tarte tatin and creme caramel . Remember to bring cash and be patient
Location in film Midnight in Paris by Woody Allen . " Le Polidor was indeed patronised by Hemingway, along with Paul Verlaine, André Gide, James Joyce, Antonin Artaud and beat poet Jack Kerouac"
A must visit if you're in Paris and love old restaurants full of history. The best steak tartare I've ever tasted! ❤️
Prix fixe menu at 22 euros, wine for 18 euros or more. The food is good and the mousse au chocolat is delicious. They don't accepted credit cards.
Great experience! Besides the delicious food, it's a cosy bistro with good service .
Great stake with reasonable price, the sauce poivre could be better and the ambient although historical is not that charming
The whole experience was great. Excellent food, friendly service , charming ambiance.
Veal with purée - very delicious. Good kitchen, no free tables: it's better to be here near 19-00 to be one of the first guests.
Classic Parisian brasserie . Loved the beef bourginon
Very old and nice atmosphere, decent price for lunch . Must for bistro experience
The lunch prix fixe is good and cheap . The decor's very old. Those little niches are where regulars kept their napkins back in the nineteenth century.
1. No Reservations 2. Small table n chair 3. Pay by CASH only 4. Tatin pie is goooood 5. Sorbet (Sherbet ) is very rich. Totally 5 star restaurant
In this place it was filmed a few scenes for Woody Allen 's movie "Midnight In Paris ". Unique restaurant .
Best bœuf bourguignon I’ve ever had!
Waiter smiles, understands and speaks only French;) but she knows a few english words: "no" and "cash")))
RS recommends ($) cash only , no reservation french fare
Bœuf bourguignon ????
And don't forget to order cream with the tarte tatin . Indispensable.
Fantastik bistro ! Very local and very french. Remember cash, they do not take credit card .
Excellent tarte ratin! Simply delicious.
Fun restaurant that has never been modernised! Fantastic wine list and great food for a nice price!
Nice pepper steak
Historic place and decent prices but food was mediocre. Service could've been better. No cards accepted (bring cash).
Incredible food.
No reservations , cash only , you don't choose your seat and the toilet is a hole in the floor. The place opened over a century ago and has never changed. One hell of an experience!
Terrible food! Sad story as it was good Once upon a time served very good Classic French food .
Try the "tarte tatin ", one of the best in town ...
French fare
Order the house wine .
French fries precut from frozen , boring pumpkin soup and tasteless lamb leg . Waiters are slicing bread with bare hands - disgusting! Don't bother
Nothing special is in the air) but any way beef and salmon were done well . No tea . No coffee americano , only espresso .
I had the lentil soup , mushroom chicken , and tarte tatine . Its over rated. Not worth the money or the stomach space
Use the hole in the ground / toilette.
Over rated and too much touristic .
ok place with simple food
A comida é boa. A relação custo-beneficio vale muito. Recomendo. Quero voltar.
O Le Polidor é simplesmente uma delicia...vale a visita, comida excelente lugar bacana, atendimento ótimo...super indico.
Atendimento muito simpático e comida melhor ainda
Ristorante storico e anche un po turistico, ma comunque piatti buoni. Da provare la Crème de Potiron e la bavarese al cassis.
Fantastico, qualità ottima
Great place! Great duck and goat cheese salad! Cozy atmosphere - but better come before 7pm to have good seats - Ilya Sokolov
Amazing breakfast. If you can, opt for it instead of brunch, too - Sophia Summerlove
One of my favourite parks in Paris. A traditional French park but with some grass spots that are good for a picnic. - Melforss
Worth the price of admission if only to see Foucault's Pendulum. The rest of the space is actually quite interesting. Worth it! - iKangaroo
Great sunny terrace in summer and awesome cocktails. Service is great too! - Julie Osborn
