Delicious food .. don't miss the Mousakhan .. also, don't miss the US presidents paint on the outside wall of the restaurant
Everything on the menu is delicious and fresh. Tastes homemade . It’s a quaint restaurant with a nice atmosphere and it’s the only “outside” traditional food I’ll eat. All around, great place to eat!
Established: 1960. Vibe: Old Hollywood version of a casbah. Signature dish: Lamb . Try the shish kabob or the shank, known as mouzat . Read more
You can't miss the mural on the side.☺ Great food as well !
Cozy , gorgeous atmosphere with excellent food. Loved the lamb shish kabob . I've walked past this place a million times en route to Adams Morgan and never knew this oasis was inside.
The kufta is AMAZING!!! Super cute and pretty interior. The stuffed cabbage is really good.
The Reeash was tasty as were the grape leaves . This is a wonderful neighborhood gem !
Babaganoush and grape leaves are fantastic here. Very well seasoned food .
Amazing food! Authentic middle eastern meza! I wanted to eat everything on their menu!
What’s good is the grape leaves and eggplant dish ; also overall the decor inside was gorgeous
Food has deteriorated from the last time; maqluba was meh, hummus with lamb was nice. Nice ambience, but wouldnt stay for the food.
Always a great food! Plus it's family owned and that's aces in my book !
Mouzat lamb and Baklawa are very delicious!
Been going here for way too many years. Best Middle Eastern spot in town . Tell them Summer sent you.
Love this place. Amazing service & atmosphere.
You can't go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu that involves "Mama's Secret Spices"!
Not the best, but their Falafel ???? are really good.
I enjoyed the Menzalah.
can't find a better date spot . the waiters know their stuff when it comes to wine pairings .
Great food, reasonable prices. The Lebanese beer Almaza is very good!
Like their mahshi & bamiah ????
Cool ambience.
The mujadarrah here is great
Lebanese classics.
I think the food lacked authenticity . It tasted plain and not the same as the original food.
The Mouzzat! (Y)
Totally agree with previous tips. Plus the Baklava is amazing. Enjoy!
Anything from the Charcoal grill is highly recommended, especially the lamb dishes .
Go to Mama Ayesha's and order the stuffed cabbage with lamb .
Check out the presidential mural .
