ASADA Mexican Grill

Only been open 4 weeks; friendly service , food is solid if a bit bland, but you can use more hot sauce . Limited menu, good alternative for lunch in the Loop if you're tired of all the fast food chains

Asada burrito was OK...tasted mostly like beans and cheese and the steak got lost. I did like that the burrito was grilled though. Chips were a low point but salsa was good.

I got the steak nachos . The steak was tiny overlooked pieces some fatty/gristle only. More jalapeños than steak . Had the melted pour on cheese that gets cold too quickly. Won't likely return.

Salad and burritos are pretty good. Taste nice and fresh.

Bland, average burrito . Friendly , but honestly you can get better/more authentic at Pueblo and more for your money at (gasp) QDoba or Chipotle, all nearby.
