The large round common near the playground is a great place for Frisbee , tossing the football , kicking around a soccer ball. It's a great space.

I love to go out at the park . I usually see the fishes at the Japanese Tea Gardens .

The San Mateo Arboretum is tucked in the southwest corner of the park and offers excellent prices on plants Sunday mornings.

Escape the fog and head to Central Park with the kids and a picnic . Various weekends they can ride a minature train next to the playground .
Avoid going here during after school hours (5pm-night). Annoying high schoolers think they can pick up older women here for some reason.
