The hike to the top is behind the large gate opposite from the bathroom , not adjacent. Hard to see at night but super great—you'll be warm by the top.
I loved the trails . It's a great place to spent a couple of hours on a sunny day. There is also a beautiful view !
Great spot for a picnic on a warm day. Grab some takeout at Piazzas up the street. Cute playground for kids, hikes if you want to take them, or lots of grass to sleep in.
Access via San Juan road for a 3.1 mile walk, trails at top exit in multiple directions, beware of ticks , rattlesnakes & mountain lions. DON'T RUN AWAY FRIM LIONS. HOLD YOUR GROUND & RAISE HANDS
