Amazing omakase , but the squeamish be forewarned! Amaebi is served so fresh that the head is still breathing/moving. Mine almost jumped off my plate. (they take it away after for cooking).
I came here bc I had a dinner paid for as a gift . I got the 120$ fixed menu . The food was tasty. Started off very slow, very tiny portions, and by the time sushi arrived, started moving along faster
Problem is I can eat. U can't serve me a loonie size piece of lobster . It was very sampled..I would never spend that money myself. U don't need to in order to have amazing sushi in the city .
If your here with your significant other, don't order the same tasting menu . The two are different, you will get the best of both. Both were excellent dinners , yet different.
Omakase onegaishimasu! Excelent, will come back.
What an exquisite place for haute Japanese cuisine. Everything is freshly prepared and flown over from Japan less than 24 hrs ago. After eating here, you will never go back to the all u can eat sushi .
This is a very good, high-end sushi experience. If you’re looking for cheap all-you-can-eat sushi , go somewhere else.
Amazing!!! Tip: Share the two omakases .
Takumi tasting menu . This is their sashimi after pumpkin and Lilly bulb cake , octopus and cucumber sunomono, hamaguri clam soup , and more to come.
Went for the $150 Omakase x 2. Expensive, uninspired , awful decor and location. Although I wasn't hungry after, i don't understand the hype here. If it weren't in the Tdot, it wouldn't be relevant.
Very expensive set menu . The chef chooses for you. Tapas like but you will be full by the end. The food is exquisite top rate. Expect to spend over 300 for a dinner for two.
Rob Gentile, chef of Buca Osteria & Enoteca, eats here on his nights off. He loves the KAJI tasting course menu. Read more
Omakase was very good, but not worth the price. Not much atmosphere either if I'm being honest. I don't regret going, but much better ways to spend the money.
Extremely disappointing given the price and how far in advance you need to make a reservation . Kitchen and plates were dirty . Food was mediocre. Maybe it was good once but this place needs an update.
Arrive hungry! You'll be served a lot of fresh fish .
Spent $300 ..insane..I would not come back here for the fixed menu again. I am a man..a man needs to eat Lol..specially for that kind of money.
Simple yet delicious omikase and very friendly service , highly recommended
I wish every sushi meal was like theirs.
Not bad, but not worth the price. Hit or miss dishes, slightly dirty open kitchen , and mediocre service. Go to JaBistro instead.
Sit at sushi bar and feed Kaji-san a lot of sake .
Unimpressive. Uninspiring , overpriced, and straightup wrong - that mackerel cut should have never been served and the onion job is an embarrassment. $150 per head for this supermarket grade food
Leo says this place is the best in Toronto in omakasa. He seems to know his stuff, so should try - Ian Leung
Any udon with extra noodles is amazing. Combo it with takosen and a salad for deliciousness! - Johnny Cheung
