A very welcoming place and even if u are not particularly religious u cannot help but be impressed with this place and the services. They do tours too! Burial place of John Wesley, church founder.
The Museum of Methodism is housed in the crypt of Wesley's Chapel. It contains artefacts and relics relating to Methodism including several of Wesley's speeches and essays on theology.
The chapel has some of London's finest historical toilets : eight of Thomas Crapper's Valveless Waste Preventers, installed in 1899.
Sunday services at 11am . You don't need to be a Methodist or even a Christian to be inspired
Real peaceful
There's madness in their method
Cool small museum specializing in fan- it’s the only fan museum in the world. Has a permanent exhibition in the ground and a variant in the first. Worth a visit - Alexia K
Great fun. Very educational, took 2 yr old son, liked large machinery but too young to appreciate the engineering behind it all. Loved bottle rockets & gigantic bubbles. £10 for annual pass good value - Robert Hughes
Fantastic museum! Just re-opened after a £10 million re-development. Especially good for kids with lots of interactive features. Focus on the immigrant experiance makes it relevant for all Londoners! - David Miller
In the summer, Bunhill Fields is great - so many cute grey squirrels running around. Superb place to get some fresh air during lunch. - Andy Hitchings
Lovely place to hang out during lunch time...and play a bit of bowl... - Sarah
