Indiana State Fairgrounds

Came for the 2018 fair . Simply an outstanding state fair . Love the farm areas, fishing with the DNR, scavenger hunt, and OH MY the circus was worth the price of admission by itself this year!

Hats off to our State Fair friends and family! We are minutes from the fairgrounds- stop in on your way to or from an event there. Vendors- we are just around the corner when you are ready for a meal!

Tickets are $7 at CVS, parking is $5 at the grounds. Nothing is too far a walk from anything else. Definitely check out the craft beer this year, and all the local food!

I had a great time at the fair . I wish there were more animals, food choices and games/rides. However, I would definitely attend again. See you next year Midway and Porkys!

Skip the $3 price of a Dairy Barn chocolate milk shake . Get a .50 chocolate milk instead. Goes down smooth and only .25 for refills. Equally cool, sweet, and creamy but fewer calories. Cheers!

Absolute best lemonade at the fair--real, fresh squeezed lemonade , not that fake shake up crap! In front of the Farm Bureau Bldg every year!

I've been going to the fair since I was in diapers. The food and rides are great. I've always had a great time.

Use the free shuttle . Park at Glendale mall . They run every 30 minutes. Makes a crowded day a little more tolerable

Be sure and get a loaded curly fry from the Texas size curly fry stand across from the grand stands. They are awesome!! They are also huge..

The 4 Fair Food Groups: 1. Fried Cheese , 2. Hoosier Ribeye , 3. Dairy Barn Milkshake , 4. Hoosier Producers Pork Chop ... Desert : Deep-fried Snickers Bar .

The maple samples in the Pioneer village are yummy. They sell small jars to take home!

The chicken pita at the gyro stand (next door to an old time photo place) closest to the milk building is AMAZING! It's huge!!!!!

$2 Tuesdays is a good deal to get a taste of everything! The doughnut burger is not $2 but it is delicious!

The Dole Pineapple Whip is my favorite!

Shahelyn's has been here for ever! They have the best traditional Lemon Shake Up you'll ever have. Buy the 32oz, best deal.

Go to the stand next to the pork tent and across from the grand stands and get a loaded curly fry.. they are awesome.

Come see the kids race quarter midgets at the Mini Indy track on the east side of the fairgrounds! Racing from 1-7pm. You can come try out a car yourself in between races!!!

Checkout the state fair !! Love it and lots of fam fun and great food! Serving alcohol for first time this year! Can't wAit!????????

Indiana Black Expo debuts on June 19th, 1971. Over 5,000 people attended the two-day event put together to celebrate African-American pride and accomplishments. The annual event continues to this day

Try anything deep fried. Don't worry, there are paramedics on the premises. I once saw them whip out the paddles on a guy when I was a kid (seriously).

This display was carved from a large block of cheese . Its about six foot wide and five foot tall.

Best fair in the Midwest and Indiana.
