Crowded always during the fair , but a ton of cool events come through the rest of the year!
Tall folks: be careful on the Round Up! The padding goes less than six feet up, and it really hurts to have your head squished to the steel.
Buy the wristband and tickets at CVS before you go and you will save a lot of money.

Came for the 2018 fair. Simply an outstanding state fair. Love the farm areas, fishing with the DNR, scavenger hunt, and OH MY the circus was worth the price of admission by itself this year! - Chris R
