Stepho's Souvlaki Greek Taverna

A nice and vibrant restaurant near Davie Street. The food portion is really good and very filling. The lamb souvlaki was cooked tenderly and blended well with the rice , side salad and vegetables .

The portions are huge, the service is great, and this is one the favorites of any Vancouverite. Can't go wrong with the chicken souvlaki or the lamb .

Creamiest lemon potatoes , zestiest tzsaziki (sp?) dip , warm fluffy pita bread , perfectly balanced Greek salad w/sweet onions , and generous portions at reasonable prices. #sogood

Best to go when they just open (around 11am), to avoid the long lines . Best price for the yummiest Greek food in Van. We were 7 and the bill only came out to $57 (with tip)!!!

I always have the lamb souvlaki I ask them to cook from scratch that way the meat tastes much better and it's very chewy. Tastes so delicious. I recommend to everyone to go to Stepho's. Friendly staff

Ground beef lasagna is ridiculously good. Always get the large so you can take some home if you can't finish it. Go early afternoon or close to closing or else you'll be waiting in line for a while.

You cannot get a whole plate of Roast Lamb , potatoes , rice , greek salad , and pita bread for under $10 anywhere else in the Lower Mainland! Get this with Fried Cheese as a starter.

The roast lamb , the dolmades , and the potatoes are a must. Everything comes with salad or rice , which are really good. Best Greek in Van. Must-try!

I always get the small size lamb souvlaki ($7.95). Generous portion of rice pilaf w/ potatoes , Greek salad and a skewer of lamb . Best to go before 6:30pm or 8:30-9pm till closing.

Can't go wrong with anything here, there's a reason they're still in business +15 years and have long line ups all the time.

Great bang for buck but it isn't the best Greek food in Vancouver. Roast lamb is massive and the Kalamari is great.

the soup in the shrimp is not soup but olive oil . good tastes.

If you aren't the line up type...go for lunch . Portioning is the same. As for a hidden dish, order the Mussels (extra spicy ). I dont know why its not on the menu , because its awesome!

Try the roast lamb , garlic prawns and tarama. Also order the mussels extra spicy , which isn't on the menu. You can pass on the calamari which isn't the best here.

Calamari is a great way to start your meal.

I ordered the calamari dinner and was disappointed to get a huge pile of fried calamari rings rather than grilled squid like at most Greek restaurants . No grilled squid here. Otherwise good.

The pita isn't the best, but their meat is very flavorful. Albeit a bit chewy.

Favorite greek restaurant in Vancity and super cheap ! Just beware of the line ups.

If you don't feel like waiting in line , the best time to go at would be around 10pm.

Kalamari for starters and roast lamb for entree.

If you're in line at 7pm, don't be surprised that you'll be waiting for 30min-1hr. Food's great though, only if you aren't in any hurry.
