It is free. It is small and cute . Worth checking out and wonder along the photo stories and also the materials used during the Gold Rush. Hard to find its entrance.

This is one of the best kept secrets in downtown Seattle. Part of the national park system, this free museum has two films that discuss the gold rush and history of Seattle. Close to King Street.
Lots of stuff for your passbook: (a) Stamp is in bookstore ; (b) 3 embossed stamps in exhibit ; (c) Etched image from metal plate; (d) 2 more stamps but you must take boat or train . Good luck!!

This park tells the story Seattle played in the Gold Rush of 1898. Some miners stayed in Seattle & made fortunes in other ways, including John Nordstrom, the founder of Nordstrom department stores .
