Here you can have the famous traditional fish and chips . Go for Cod if you want it more oily and less fishy & Haddock if you want it less oily and more fishy.
it doesn't matter how much you are already full with fish&chips, you should try truffle puding . but if you don't want to be awake till morning, it is strongly recommended to share with a friend:)
I had the haddock and chips . The portion was very large (even for the regular size) and I had to pack half of it to take home with me. It is the equivalent of two meals, so price is good.
It's the best fish and chips I have ever had in my life???????? also they have magnificent "Cartmel sticky toffee pudding " dessert , I love it ❤️????
so good. Just go there. The fish is light and crispy and just right, the chips are great. Cute decor, 10/10
Definitely one of the best places to get Fish and Chips in the area. Great cod and and delicious chips . A bit pricey and it does get busy but that's a sign of the quality.
We waited for 30-40minutes but it was totally worth it. Best fish & chips I’ve ever had. Mushy peas were good too! Service was great!
The fish is fresh and cooked to perfection, it was really delicious. You have to try the caramel toffee pudding , it's out of this world !
Best fish & chips I have ever had! I usually don't fancy chips all that much but this one was so tasty I couldn't stop! Ask for the tartare sauces for take out .
Choose cod or haddock . I preferred the haddock : crisp and lighter batter. Good place for traditional fish and chips . Waited 15 min for a table, quite reasonable.
Awesome atmosphere, delicious food and great service (being a bit drunk, dropped a half of the fish on the floor and got a whole new one for free!). This is definitely a must visit in London!
Some of the loveliest fish & chips in London. Get the haddock with some chips and lots of malt vinegar !
Quite pricey when you are used to a good cheap Northern chippy tea but very nice to chomp on some chips and curry sauce whilst walking home late from work!
Best fish and chips in London by far ???????????? crunchy and tasty, enjoyed every bite of it.
This is the latest venture from 68-year-old fish fryer Pat "Pop" Newland but his sustainability policy is right up to date - Peterhead cod , plaice , rock, mackerel . Handmade mushy peas . Read more
Huge portions . Fish is fresh and chips have full potato flavor. Great for sit down or a quick take away .
Very good fish'n'chips! Do take away - this food is supposed to be eaten outside :) (if you insist on sitting, there is a space with free tables just behind the corner)
These guys have reached the semi finals of the best fish and chip restaurant in UK! The only London restaurant to be included too.
An excellent choice for fish and chips , near Truman Brewery ... The fish was awesome and tasted really fresh, and the waitress in the 50's uniforms were very friendly
Good fish and chips - still not as good as Aussie fish and chips though (sorry!). Though the claims that its offishially (sp? ;) ) the best in London may be true?? - see for yourself!
Amazing fish and chips ! Very crispy and tender. The pickled onion is nice addition to the meal.
this is a great little spot - definitely worth a visit. a basic fish chips and mushy peas is more than enough. the large had me limping home...
Cozy fish and chips joint with an old fashioned feel. Don't even think about getting anything else - the signature dish is amazing.
Traditional Cod and chips really hit the spot. Tuffee desert was also exquisite. The atmosphere and service is top notch
Overcrowded during the day but work till late night so do not hesitate to drop in cause it definitely worth trying.
They spoil me so in here, NIce / Staff , Notice longer serving staff mcuh larger - nice food, look after locals well , Tip, Ask for uour chips to be wrapped, get double the amount x
Try the jellied eels . Not on the menu , but available and a London tradition to tell your friends about.
The peas are perfectly mushy and the fish and fantastically fishy. Had a great lunch here. Worth the wait if there's a line
Incredibly flaky & moist cod , but otherwise everything just felt a touch bland. Not much imagination here, just good quality ingredients for you to season / complement as you see fit.
The food is really good but, at least for me, the individual is still too big. Oh, and the music is awesome, from Buddy Holly to Bobby Darin.
Best fish & chips in east London ! Try the haddock , with a good pale ale . Don't forget to take chupa chups before get out.
A place where good F&S meet tradition and good service . Good value for money and a great place for lunch with tourists .
Fish and chips seems a bit over commercialized in London... but this place is legit. Order the cod as take-away and avoid a long line . You can still done outside
Very tasty! The small was already pretty large :) save room for dessert !
Good mushy peas . Fish is moist, chips good. Has a 50's theme. Lots of American tourists here, understandably.
Fish and chips enorme (mesmo o regular), lugar super retrô !
I'm not even a seafood person but this was pretty good. Fish and chips included in a tour of Whitechapel on a Jack The Ripper tour .
Not specifically crave for fish & chips but this is the best so far I've tasted. Go for Cod & chips , it's a bomb!
DO NOT have jellied eels ! But then again, that goes for anywhere :) Cosy kitsch decor, the only downside is it is often a little stuffy.
Fish is great! Too much of chips ! But definitely worth it!!
Great atmosphere and delicious fish and chips . I recommend the apple pie as dessert .
Best fish and chips I've ever had! The portions are very generous and the chips are so yummy ????
On the basis of the chips alone - what a wonderful, wonderful place. Please indulge, enjoy, rejoice
I'm not a big fan of fish and chips but if you wanna try the best one, this is the place!
Cod fish , calamari & sticky toffee puding are the best fish and chips and desert ever.;))
Delicious food, chips are fluffy on the inside. Great staff and vibe. Quick service .
Get some delicious fish & chips in this 1950’s themed restaurant with a diner feel to it. Don’t forget the vinegar!
Fave fish and chipper in the world though recently free plastic cutlery replaced with just a fork and today the chip portions were decidedly mean... Hoping those highest of standards aren't slipping.
good stuff! large IS large! sufficient for two. don't forget to put vinegar over your fish'n'chips.
Great selection of fish for choice. Loved the food!! Great decor as well
You can order any grilled/steamed fish with sides! Deliciously cooked - chips are alone wirth the trip! - raquel lobo
Really enjoyed this - good food, good prices - like the relaxed atmosphere! - Georgie Lax
Probably best chippy in the area. Fresh chips, great cod with light batter and a superb lobster bun. Will return.A bit on the pricey side and it's cash only. - Mikey
Favourite Sunday hangout. Lots of quirky stalls and nice restaurants. The book stall is amazing and cheap. - Michaela Watkinson
Amazing shop with coffee, wifi and a massive selection of both mainstream and indie music. Cool vibe in such a cool area. - Carlos F.
An excellent pub! A good selection of beers, nice disco tunes, and a cute fat cat. - aneedee
