Lakeview is a family hotel and restaurant on the crater-rim of the ancient Mount Batur caldera. Founded as a homestay of teak huts by Mangku Darta in 1964, it now features two deluxe rooms, ten superior rooms and eight standard rooms.

Thumbs up for the buffet options . And I've gotta admit, going here too often potentially hurts the bank balance but the serene view of the Lake Batur is just too good to be missed!
