Vancouver 2010 Olympic Cauldron

10 minutes away is the Olympic Cauldron and the magnificent pixelated Orca whale sculpture ! A definite landmark to see! I also advise people to take another visit at night, so pretty when it's lit up!

A great way to remember the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The city coming together with so much pride. Brought us all a little closer together. Stop by here when you're in Coal Harbour

Visit the Cauldron at night to see the same sculpture look entirely different bathed in coloured lights. Could be a nice part of a romantic evening walk.

Lovely location. Great place to just hang out with friends or as part of a romantic night out on the town .

To take an awesome pic of the cauldron, go up to the point of the triangular-like observation deck right before the stairs down to the exit. You can take a great picture of all 4 arms of the cauldron.

Help strangers by asking if you can trade taking pictures of each other at the flame! Then head south on Thurlow to caffe artigiano and defrost with a cappuccino ! Best in the city !!

The cauldron gets lit on special holidays like Canada Day!

You can now get in closer to take some pictures. Definitely suggest doing so if you had done it already. Much prettier.

Get further away from the fence and the picture will turn out better. Stand on one of the planters.
