It sure attracts the visitors! Every quarter hour it goes through its display, cool to sit across the street at The Water Street Cafe and enjoy it with a meal.

the famous gastown steam clock.. amazing and colder nights when u see the steam really poppin
The guy who built the steam clock hangs out at nearby Pub 340 sometimes if you want to meet him. You can tell when he's around because his personalised licence plate says "CLOCKS".
The reality is that the clock is solely a tourist prop. It' actually electric!!! Not a true steam clock. But tourists line up every 15 minutes , excitedly taking photos while it chimes the time. LOL
I haven't try going here during daylight, but at night you'll be amaze with those lights.????
Goes off every 15min. Buy a coffee at Starbucks and sit outside to see/hear the steam clock go off.
It is the only one in the world which works on steam
Super cool steam clock!!! And the vibe and stores around the clock are very cool!
It is worth the walk by if you are in the area, it does sound off on the hour.

Yes, it’s a clock.
curious clock
It's a clock. With steam.
Contrary to belief the steam clock doesn't 100% run off steam. The steam wasn't hot enough by the time it got here. Some electrical parts are involved :(
it is usually crowded at the top of the hour
