Check in was at 4pm. If you bring food it will stay in your car a while, make sure you have an ice chest, you can always hit the grocery store later. It's not far. Full kitchens w/ dishes. Pack fruit

A freight train runs right next to the rooms, literally. It will keep you up all night. Ask for a room farthest away from the tracks .
This is the perfect weekend getaway! It's nestled right in between Schlitterbahn and the Comal river . Plus the pool is open until midnight.

It is nice staying in the park however rooms are way overpriced vs quality in the older Area. Our phone was dead, a window was broken that rattled all night, trains ran thru constantly blowing horns.
We were in room 327, right next to the train track & the noise was not a problem
