In 1997, the U.S. Tennis Association announced it would name the new center court stadium at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York, the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Not a bad seat in the house here, although it's quite high up if you're in one of the upper sections. It's pretty amazing to witness a stadium so full of people be so silent during the matches.
There are no concession stands offering hamburgers , hotdogs or Italian Sausages on the Mezzanine Level (Luxury Suites & Courtside). They're on the Loge/Promenade Level. Use the private elevator .
Arthur Ashe Stadium is the largest tennis stadium in the world: 23,771 seats, 90 luxury suites, 12 elevators , 6 escalators, 6 TV studios, 20 broadcast booths , 16 camera positions, 1 love of the game!

When in Rome... be on the lookout for celebs! Don't forget to bring your binoculars with you to US Open night sessions.
All the updates they’ve made to the stadiums have really paid off. Went for a US Open day game and the energy all around was contagious. So much fun!
Bring your AMEX. Look for signs for seating. Try to pay someone off for better seats. Come with a fully loaded metro card if taking mass transit or with a Mercedes for free parking (valued at $20)
Beatiful venue with excellent visibility from any angle. Honestly the higher you sit, the more you can see. With good lenses, one can take really amazing pictures.
There isn't really a bad seat in the house! Be sure to stay hydrated; it's all outdoors & the sun can be oppressive. Take the 7 or LIRR to avoid traffic. And stop by our boutique while you're there!
it's changed over the years... but still great experience and atmosphere of the whole complex!!!! Don't like the main court when the roof is closed, it totally changes the vibe of the game
#tennis . Only Heineken at the open so plan ahead
Playing here in the 2012 US Open, Andy Murray of Great Britain became the first man to win both the Olympic men's singles gold medal and the US Open in the same year.
A great place to watch a game of tennis , especially if the weather is good...
Must try the Grey Goose Honey Deuce cocktail !
Bring wet wipes. People spill soda on the seats and the grounds folks don't wipe them down. Now that's what I call keeping you in your seats!
There’s no better venue in the world to watch a pro tennis match than here during the US Open. But did you know that the courts are open to the public during the rest of the year?
Can you spot any Babolat tennis shoes made with Michelin's tire technology on the Arthur Ashe Stadium court? Home to the U.S. Open, this stadium was named after the African American player.
For burgers , brisket and veggie burgers in shade with a breeze and away from the crowds, head to red star cafe near Ashe.
Not happy with the new roof, makes it so hot inside and not comfortable to watch the gaem, might not be worth going in the future to thsi stadium
Yesterday, I was here to speak at the U.S. Open 2013 Opening Night ceremony and welcome players and fans to NYC.
Great sight lines even in the "cheap " seats.
Formerly the Singer Bowl built for the 1964-5 World's Fair , the stadium was converted into the National Tennis Center by the USTA in the 1970s.
Food is great at the US open. Drinks are little pricey

Nice place to eat after a match. Good place to hangout and chill out . (2 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
The roof! Hard to find the signature Honey Deuce drink at very many concession locations tho

Take the LIRR - a 15 min ride vs a 40 min slog on the 7
Get the franks. Don't get the burger .
The Open cocktail is undrinkable! Goose, chambord , lime juice , and melon balls. Tastes like a mall mocktail
THE best experience for tennis fans in the country !
Sip on a Honey Deuce while watching some tennis .

The new Armstrong is stunning. The architecture is beautiful and is cozier than the old Armstrong. You can find food options in here as well! - Joe Montes
Purchase tickets in advance for guaranteed seating. Choose baseline seats or the side opposite of the umpire's chair which obstructs the view of the players. It's also faster to get in / out. - EArchitect
Intimate concert venue with great local foods and beers. A real gem in the city. Take the E or F train. - Alex Fish
