Oriental Pearl Tower is a monument Lùjiāzuǐ Pudong located in China.
1 Century Ave | 世纪大道1号 (Lujiazui Ring Rd | 陆家嘴环路), Lùjiāzuǐ Pudong Shanghai , 200120 China
It is a must see place if you want to take a great look of many things in Shanghai. It has some observation levels, at 263 m you have a glass floor , really amazing to watch the city at your feet.
The tickets are kind of expensive , but for ¥368 you get a lot. buffet Meal in the rotating restaurant , observatory , outdoor glass floor and the history museum .
This is a great place to get an awesome view of the Shanghai skyline. Go on their glass floors for an amazing view of Century Ave.
SECRET: If you buy the ticket that includes the buffet at the revolving restaurant , you get to take the VIP elevator and skip the 1.5 hour line ! ????
Awesome views of Shanghai. Fee is not cheap if you take full tour of the tower but worth it
Get atop of the world’s 3rd tallest TV and radio tower for a jaw dropping view of the city . Avoid weekends as it can get extremely crowded . Try walking on the glass deck for some adrenaline rush!
Really much better than you’d think and a lot bigger inside than it appears.
First time i visited in 2006 price entry 100rmb/pax,located nearest Huangpu river for view ,this is a symbol of Shanghai, many photos take this tower from Puxi to Pudong, worthy to visit
Might not be the tallest climb but it is definitely the most fun. Get the cheaper ticket (B ticket - 160RMB), and enjoy the "Transparent Observatory " at the top with its amazing glass floor !
One of the touristic (and not only) spot to see the amazing city of Shanghai. Take a full tour of the Tower.
Awesome glass elevator , but it only goes about a third of the way up, then you need to switch to another elevator .
This place has airport-style security with x-ray and body scans at two places, so expect delays you need to go through twice, and don’t even think of bringing a cigarette lighter!
Be prepared for lines . The entrance for the Upper Level (¥220) is about 45 min. & is only the beginning. Line to the next elevator , then more, then to get the heck down and out. Enjoy the view .
The exhibition on the 0 meter level is definitely one of my favorite places in Shanghai. Lujiazui area is also worth going.
Buy the full ticket it's worth it but avoid weekends and national holidays it can get really crowded . Don't miss the outdoors floor on the lowest ball. Good for pictures, no glass.
Buy the tickets before entering the gate on gate 1 or 2. Elder people than 70 have discount but tickets can be purchased only at ticket office at Gate 1.
View is amazing! Underground museum very good as well ! Don't suggest restaurant there - cool rotating system, but overpriced a lot.
A long queue forms under the tower everyday, but the waiting pays off. The view will leave you breathless and glass floors will turn your legs into a jelly . A must-see for all Shanghai visitors.
Lost my wallet near the ticket stand. And the next day I returned and someone had turned in!! Staff was very concerned and helpful (With the help of Google Translate). I'm incredibly grateful.
The Shanghai Municipal History Museum in the basement of the tower is my favorite in Shanghai.
Is not worth going all the way to the sky capsule. Just get the 120rmb ticket and enjoy the view from 285m and the glass floor
THE landmark of Shanghai, very unique design, which stands out from the skyline. I love its retro sci-fi vibe :) ????????
Skip the top floor, hit the observation deck and roller coaster , and municipal museum in basement . Avoid weekends etc, gets nuts .
Must visiting place when u come to Shanghai. It is extremely crowded on weekend.
Museum of Urban History is quite interesting, although I'd have liked more actual artifacts . Try to avoid groups of wilding Chinese schoolchildren, who will not hesitate to shove you aside.
Very inefficient system with multiple queues. Even when there’s not much of a crowd, having to queue over and over again creates its own crowd.
One of the 'must to do' in Shanghai. Visit the 3 Pearls during lunch time to avoid the big crowds
if u are in shanghai u have to try glass floor & resturant of pearl tower
Something to consider for maybe your 10th or 11th visit to Shanghai, possibly you live here. Or maybe just stay away. Views are good but you have to fight hordes of people and a poor layout.
More beautiful than Tower itself is the inside, try glass floor ! It's awesome!
Şangay demek bura demektir. If you say I am in shanghai, you must see pearl tower. Cam bölmeye kesinlikle uğrayın
2.5 hour wait after ticket purchase around 6 pm. Come early to avoid long waits . 160 rmb for tower and 299 for tower and boat ride .
Amazing! A must if you are in Shanghai!!
The greatest attraction in Shanghai, very good view when lights are on. Great tourist view !
The best view is on the second level) the third "space" level can be omitted)
Take a picture on observation deck while stepping to the glass floor
Alright, the view is astonishing! However, the pushy rude people, insanely long lines , & the unsupervised brats ruin the whole experience. Prices are insane but worth it at least once if in Shanghai.
Check the forecast whether there are fog or no before try the on top experience
Looks funky from afar. Take a closer look and you can see it is coming of age and the concrete looks dodgy.
A must visit while in Shanghai, and walk on glass hundreds of meter of street
Nice shops for souvenirs at the top of the tower. Glass observation deck is not to be missed.
Stunning views and nice atmosphere in the evening
Had high expectation. Ended up disappointed. Views weren't great bcos of bad interior lighting creating reflections. Glasses had lots of scratches. Perhaps wouldn't hv prob during day time. Pricey ????
Shanghai Museum of Urban History on the lobby floor is strongly recommended for everyone who was born or lives or interested in Shanghai.
Probably the most popular sightseeing place in Shanghai.
Observation deck at the World Financial Center is a much more organized , enjoyable experience and view is better. Do not go here unless you love long waits , pushy tourists and confined spaces.
Get tickets for lunch or dinner . Great food, and you get to skip the long lines .
Fantastic! And do not forget to go to the restaurant
Standing on air distracted me from the panoramic scenary which the height provided
Great view , both to the city down your steps and to the horizon
Fantastic all Shanghai in a glance. A splendid panoramic view. With a sensational impression to walk on the empty space???? - Lara
I was pleasantly surprised by how good this was. Worth a visit on its own, with or without a trip up the tower - Nicholas Olson
Beef steak is so good but you have to wait till chef do it. - Pakwan Chin
Nice monument, worth checking if you are close. - Jernej
Come on a weekday evening to avoid multitudes. - Francisco Antonio
Somewhere you can shop, not too expensive brands :D I love Mixxo, HnM and CnA! Banana Leaf dining is naise, good food, fast service, environment ???? :D - Bibim Bap
Perfect view and good to walk around and see Pudong on the other side. Perfect by night if view is good - Seba
