Zhongshan E 1st Rd | 中山东一路 (Guangdong Rd), Wàitān Huangpu Shanghai , 200002 China
When people think of Shanghai, this the view they think about. Shanghai’s lit of financial district in Pudong being viewed from the Bund on the Puxi side of the Huangpu river . An evening must see!
Best place in Shanghai!!! Greatest view , especially in the evening. Suggest to start walking from People's square via Nanging Road and then take a walk in bund.
One of the most wonderful sightseeing in shanghai!!! Visit in the morning and night all beautiful, but have to go before all light close at 10pm.
Always full of people day&night. But at night u feel the city more beauty with the light. From the bund u can see river view ,and the high tower on Pudong bank (Jin Mao ,Oriental Pearl,SWFC tower)
If the crowds heading to/from the Bund on East Nanjing Road when it opens up to traffic again are too much for you, go a block or two south to one of the smaller streets, much less crowded .
The waterfront promenade offers outstanding views of old colonial Shanghai on the west side where buildings of baroque, neo-classical, & Gothic styles provide a glimpse of the city 's old-world charm.
Love scenic outlooks and modern parks within any high-rise city ... because of the great views (of both the East and west side of the city ), it'll be super crowded and busy during most of the day!!
It is wonderful landscape of Shanghai. It is the best place I have ever seen. You can see Pudong landscape from here and can take lots of photos. I got taken photo here and by wechat I added it
Everyone crowds around the area directly across from East Nanjing Road , walk a little south and the crowds quickly thin out with a great view of PuDong for photos.
Everyone walks down East Nanjing Road to get to the bund, at night the police will compel everyone to use the south sidewalk heading to the bund, and north sidewalk coming back (keep right).
Located on the West Huangpu River (Puxi),always crowded both day&night (espescially in weekend).but look more beauty in the night, walking around & enjoy.View hight tower on the opposite riverbank
Take a stroll along the waterfront and gaze onto the dazzling lights & heights of Shanghai. The iconic Pearl TV Tower doesn't light up until just after sunset so be patient for the night view .
You can see Pudong District and take great photos of Shanghai's awesome skyline: futuristics skyscrapers . Across the street there are a lot of historical buildings with european's architecture .
Loaded with shops (locals and mid end western brands) and western buildings. The bund tunnel also worth to try if u like psychedelic views . Take Metro line 2 n get off at Nanjing East rd.
You can't missed it in Shanghai. If you want a quieter place you can walk along the promenade after the restaurant in the Yacht club and if you go there in a weekday in the morning the place is yours
What a picturesque view . Beautiful day or night. The banks across the street have some incredible architecture , as well . Definitely a must-see when in Shanghai.
Perfect view and good to walk around and see Pudong on the other side. Perfect by night if view is good
The view by night and by day are equally interesting experience. Be sure to come in between 7pm and 11pm for the light show on Pudong 's buildings.
Take a walk down the Bund to experience picturesque views of the Shanghai skyline . Great place for taking photos. Watch the lights turn on at 7 PM daily.
Amazing views . Most of the lights shut off at 10pm, so come at dusk to give yourself plenty of time to take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the views .
Incredibly beautiful view in between the high rise and old european architecture . A must visit place. The lights during night at those Pudong 's highrise building were so beautiful!
Take a look at "rich China". The real one is at Beijing's back streets. World's 2nd, China's 1st tallest building, pearl shaped tower and bottle opener shaped tower will be at your sight.
Great view of the financial district and an architectural row of buildings on the other side. Can be very crowded though!
View from the Pudong side is spectacular. Plan ahead to walk after your visit as finding an available cab amongst the throng of people is near impossible.
Wonderful place for walking and take a picture of high tower another side
Make sure to go on a clear night! The building lights are beautiful. Even some boats are in bright LED lights as well . The lights turn off exactly at 10pm. Not a second later.
What a beautiful seeing. Many wedding couples take wedding photos there. And, we felt the power of a past age and current China country . Must visit in your life.
You has to see it both on day time and night time. BEAUTIFUL! ps. Avoiding a foggy day is an suggestion. ????
You will see the old part and the modern part of shanghai the same time;the lights are great at night and so lovely scenery
A stretch of superb buildings originally built for the British along the Huangpu River , today it has become a promenade that offers some of the best views of Shanghai. Read more
It's beautiful at night, but the best experience is early in the morning! Catch the residents flying kites, playing musical instruments and on their morning walks - sometimes backwards!
Great view of Pudong 浦东, which was just a swamp 40 years ago.
What an amazing view at night..you just feel like staying there and looking at those skyscrapers .Beautiful!
The place to be to witness the illumination on Shanghai tower mansion and other skyscrapers China style led magic. Only from 7-10pm!!
What an amazing skyline! To top it all off, Shanhgai was smog free coming off the G20 summit.
The symbol of Shanghai ! Go there before 10:00 pm cause they turn the harbor lights off after. And don't forget to take postcard pictures !
Scenic view to the skyline of modern China. The best time is to go here just before the sunset (about 6pm in summer).
Great waterfront walking area with excellent view of the Shanghai Oriental pearl tower
The best view of SH ever. Try to catch both day and night view
The views at night show the grandeur of the majestic financial capital and the history of the architecture is quite interesting
If the Bund boardwalk is packed around Chenyi square (at the end of Nanjing Road ), walk a bit North or South and the big crowds will disappear quickly.
The best for walking especially at night although it’s crowded ????
Amazing view ! Should visit Bar Rouge on the band to see more????????
In 1927 it's been accurately commented by Far East Review that 'Versatile style were built by multi countries yet in great harmony.'
Great view to skyscrapers (Orient Pearl , Shanghai Tower and others) and smog.
A MUST when visiting Shanghai. Killer view of Pudong .
The view is pretty good, make sure you snap some pictures!. The bad thing: we had to wait in the line for 1.5 hours (no kidding), avoid the weekends and come another day that is not so crowded .
THE must in Shanghai! One tidbit: you are observed by police all the time. A bit scary. Minority report became reality!
The fresh wind in the summer
Must see at night. Totally different at night with the light.
