Ask for the Secret Menu, get the AMAZING minced fried catfish with mango salad . SO GOOD,esp with sticky rice !Good $7.50 lunch specials , and properly Thai hot.You can choose mild, medium or very spicy .
If you like spicy , ask for "Thai medium" or if you're daring, "Thai spicy ." If you ask for spicy but not Thai spicy , that translates to mild. The kor moo yang off the secret menu is a must-order.
The Hell’s Kitchen Thai restaurant , post-renovation, is a newly lovely space in the neighborhood . And graciously, it welcomes outside bottles. Read more
Honestly, I tried three entrées and they were ALL amazing. Based in other people's orders, theirs was good too. You can infer EVERYTHING is delicious. Rated #6 best Thai in the city too. BYOB btw.
The original location (this one) is the best. The once "secret" Thai menu is now translated on every table. Get the miang kana, since this is one of only two places in the city to carry the dish.
Got beer from across the street. The pad Thai rocked my world. Get the vegetable dumplings , too -- they're an unusual, sweet and salty way to start your meal.
Tasty Thai food . We split the whole fish and two sides. Delicious! Everything on the menu is good and it's also BYOB . The wait could be long, leave your name on the board outside.
I've been here 13 times & have tried 25 dishes. LOVED: 1) Po-Tek With Coconut Milk (Seafood Tom Yum Soup) 2) Duck Kra Prow (Basil & Chili ). FAILED: Beef Pad Kra Prow. See Top 10 dishes on Foodmento: Read more
Thai iced tea and crispy pork with Chinese broccoli were amazing. Wasn’t a fan of the fried tofu but I will definitely be coming back! Food was cheap and had just the right amount of spice
Great calamari and even better curries ! Mango and sweet rice dessert to die for <3
Very tasty authentic Thai food ! So many tips about their secret menu but their normal menu is actually very tasty as well !
Fantastic tiny BYOB Thai — best I’ve had in the city . The pineapple fried rice is excellent as is the mieng ka na (dried pork lettuce rolls)
Get the crispy pork off the secret menu at this BYOB gem, and they provide a corkscrew if you need one; be prepared to wait though as there are only a few tables, but it's well worth it
Little hole in the wall Thai place. You have to check it out. The duck gra prow is a crispy duck on a blend of sweet and spicy sauce , delicious.
Unassuming restaurant serves some of the best Thai food in the city . When the president of Siam is in town , this is where he orders delivery . Make sure you get something off of the “Secret Menu .”
Get the Mieng Ka-Na from the secret Thai menu ! Makes me want to go eat everything from the streets of Thailand right now!
Crispy Pork Phrig Khing its mild spicy and its the best “sound” in your mouth. Go to the restroom and u gonna cross through that magic kitchen.
Cozy , delicious meal! Try the Tom Ka soup and soft shell crab with basil sauce . It's a small space so get comfy with your neighbors.
soft shell crab ; meang karnar (fresh chinese broccoli leaves w/shredded dried roasted pork and peanuts salad )..must order!
I come here with my friend who always has the inside connect. Loved the khao soi
Tiny tiny place. Super duper yummy to die for authentic thai cuisine. The staff is super friendly and pro: real thai, nothing fake
If you know what this Thai noodle soup is from Thailand... They have it here! (Tom yum noodle soup ). If you're from LA it's like Hoyka aka Ord Noodle
Must have on the secret menu -- Squid with string beans (it's crazy delicious) and soft shell crab with mango salad . Om nom nom
Everything on the menu is phenomenal but the avocado curry is out of this world. Trust me.
I love that their "spicy " is actually spicy . If you're into spicy food , order the papaya salad extra spicy - painful but delicious.
@VikasBajaj says this is the best Thai in Manhattan. He was raised in Bangkok, so he knows his Thai food - and even ordered in fluent Thai.
Get the Duck Gra Prow . Thank me later. Actually, just like this tip.
Great green curry , there are two location within a block, can be confusing when meeting a friend
Crazily good. Went there with a Thai friend. Best Thai food I ever had in town
The medium spicy is spicier than you are thinking, go with the mild unless you know what you're doing.
Order something Thai off the menu like stir fried morning glory vege with crispy pork ! Loove it
Best Thai in NYC! Spicy beef salad is a must and ask for the secret menu !
BYOB . Get a bottle of wine directly across the street or a six pack of beer . If you forget your corkscrew, they have extras here.
Really good food! Very genuine!
Try the Som Tum Pbooh - Papaya salad w salted "live" crab off secret menu ; h/t @SpecialKRB from when @BangkokGlutton lived in NY! #asianantiobiotic
Very genuine and fresh food that tastes like it does in Thailand
This place has the most authentic Thai's food compares to most of the Thai's restaurant I ever have in NYC
Ask for the secret Thai menu . Huge fan of the beef salad , Tom yum shrimp , and chicken satay
Very small place with great flavor. Ask for the thai style basil chicken and bring your own beer for a great meal.
Get the stewed pork leg , not sure if it's on the menu, but it tastes just like it did in Thailand.
