*Unbelievably good.* Authentic Italian food in a relaxed atmosphere that reminded me of restaurants in Italy. Spaghetti alla chitarra! Tagliatelle in ragu ! Inexpensive wine . What's not to love here!
If you come during peak hours and days, be prepared to wait, but there are plenty of places nearby to grab a drink, as well as the West Side Highway and Hudson River only one short block west. Read more
Great pasta at this romantic dinner date spot . Snag a table outside and enjoy this quite corner in the west village , away from it all, it actually feels like you traveled to Italy.
Get the spinach gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce . Rich. excellent. Bruschetta toast needed to be crisp. Grilled calamari huge letdown-not sure what ppl are thinking. Tiramisu is so average.
Spinach Gorgonzola gnocchi is out of this world good. Pick a day when the weather is great and sit outside. Wine carafes are affordable and the location is perfect for a little people-watching. #CPL8
This is the West Village vibe that you want. Go here on a nice day, sit outside, take in the air, enjoy your meal, go stroll the West Village , grab a drink...but start it all here.
Great location, delicious wine , and fantastic service. Made recommendations on menu items and the pasta is fresh. Cash only- highly recommend
This place is one if my favorite restaurants for dinner in NYC. Candlelit romantic vibe , authentic Italian fare , great staff , and chock full of gorgeous people to stare at. Prices are great too.
Feels like you're on a little vacation in Italy. The bruschetta is delicious; the steak and shaved parmesan is fantastic, but the lamb chops are my absolute favorite.
Nice, romantic vibe . Attentive service, love that they open the windows and seat people indoors and out. $7 house red wine ???? fish of the day was melt in your mouth!
This neighborhood gem takes those fluffy, pillow-like gnocchi dishes to a whole new level. The homemade Spinach Gnocchi is full of richness from the Gorgonzola cheese sauce – it’s a must order!
Cozy , authentic Italian restaurant in the West Village , reasonably priced for excellent quality and portions. Grab a carafe of Sangiovese, order the Spinach Gnocchi and relax under the stars.
It was great! Spaghetti with mussels and tortellini with ragu were delicious, wine is ca 39$ per bottle and, service is quick, waiting time no more than 20 min
Outstanding Italian food served by cute and charming Italian waiters . Grab a table outside and dive into a plate of Spinach Gnocchi and a side of Meatballs . Make a reservation !
Enjoy the stuffed flatbread piadina , or the predictably great bolognese sauce , here called by its proper name of tagliatelle al ragu . Read more
Gnocchi gnocchi gnocchi . Get the spinach or potato . Ask for whatever sauce you want - they mix and match the pastas no problem. Meatballs are great too
The spinach gnocchi in Gorgonzola cream sauce is very special. If you love gnocchi you must try this to see if it's the best you've ever had.
This place is cash only - there is an ATM in the deli around the corner. The food is great, service is whatever, but be prepared to fall asleep after eating the gnocchi - It made me pass out. :)
Cute place for a weekend lunch . Burrata was great. Spinach gnocchi was delicious but the cream sauce was quite rich. Great service too!
Go when weather is nice, sit outside with a bottle of wine , and order spinach gnocchi .
#FabuLIST #DubiDO mussels (to die for), crostini (bruschetta , mushrooms prosciutto , Gorgonzola ) spinach gnocchi , and spaghetti with basil and mozzarella . Cheap wine too!!
Spinach gnocchi , polenta , anything with gorgonzola really. Cozy date friendly spot , they sing happy birthday in Italian! Cash only
One of the highest value dinners in the area. Fresh, homemade pasta and sauces at a very affordable price . Highly recommended.
Date night with my boyfriend! Very cozy and great food, cash only . Not too expensive . Sort of weird how they seat you, not many two tops. Be prepared to wait. Waiters nice but scatterbrained.
Food is amazing - The best gnocchi I've ever had. Spaghetti and chicken melanaise were both fantastic as well . But it's a hassle - cash only , middle of nowhere, always a wait.
My favorite Italian restaurant in the city . There isn't a thing on the menu that isn't good but the piadina mozzarella are a must for appetizers .
One of my all time favorite Italian restaurants in NY. The spinach gnocchi can turn your day around. Cash only !
Fresh pasta is awesome and worth the trip, get the Spaghetti &/or spinach gnocchi
Amazing authentic Italian food . Try the spinach gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce . It's cash only , though, so plan ahead.
Everything is delicious. You can't go wrong with one of their homemade pastas . Spinach gnocchi is a bit heavy but scrumptious.
Our New Favorite Place - Reminds us of a place we ate at in Torino, Italy. The food and service are excellent.
Good neighborhood spot with classic pasta dishes. Good place if you’re in the neighborhood and trying to avoid a heavy wait time
Atmosphere is beautiful, lighting is warm, staff is kind and the food, oh the food, is delicious!!
Special black ink linguini with shrimp ... Omg to die for.. Also raw artichoke salad is must try!!!
Don't leave without ordering the spinach gnocchi . It's one of the top 3 gnocchi dishes in the city !
Cash only ! But really delicious food. The gnocchi is something not to be missed, specifically the spinach gnocchi .
The Tagliatelle ragu is delicious. My favorite pasta dish in NYC so far, it's like a big, homely hug from your Italian friend's grandmother.
you can't go wrong with the pasta : spinach gnocchi and tagliatelle were both amazing.
great local spot with walls that open onto a sunny corner . the pasta is some of the best around !!!
Amazing penne arrabiata ! Reminded me of my grandmas's sauces. And the spinach gnocchi was delicious, and light for a creamy sauce !
Was taken on a first date here and really enjoyed it. Gnocchi was delish, scene was super cute , service was superb.
Excellent date spot , but be prepared to wait. Noisy ambiance, good for crowds though. Spinach gnocchi is the best.
One of the best burratas I’ve ever had
Genuine food in a friendly atmosphere makes you feel like in a "trattoria" - cash only , there's an ATM inside the bodega next door.
Grilled octopus is amazing. And of course, pasta . Small and cozy . Cash only .
Cute , casual , and somewhat romantic , with great outdoor seating . Food is superb, though the appetizers (bruschetta , etc.) were underwhelming.
Chicken cutlet was perfectly done. Chicken arugula tomatoes and Parmesan were a perfect combination. Ate it too fast for a picture ...
The best chicken Milanese and pasta in the city
Not sure why this has such good reviews. I ordered the grilled calamari . It was ok. My friend really did not like the spinach gnocchi . There are better Italian restaurants in the hood. Go to those.
Don't even play around. Get the spaghetti .
Get the quattro stagione pizza. Love this place. Met a few celebs here too. Good vibes and good food. - Laura
Delicious Italian food in the West Village, everything was fresh and tasty. Try the pasta with lemon and parmesan. Don't forget your reservation! - dara lynne
Always a fan of their music selection, great atmosphere for catching up with friends - ᴡ Tse
Cupcakes are delicious; try the one with banana, carrot cake and pineapple. - Sarper Boz
