Tomi Sushi

By far the best sushi in town ! Quality of the fish is awesome! Japenese sushi master. Don't be afraid by the foursquare note. Be aware they don't accept American express express

Special chirashi bowl is a good thing to get if you're willing to spend the money ($15). If not, the katsu don is really good too! The 'super bomb roll' is a really good spicy tuna roll . Gotta try!

Omakase sushi is well done, the fish is premium and include a miso soup with fish . However it’s a little bit pricy (50$ w/tax-there are other good places where you pay it $33-$39). Not real wasabi .

I've been here at least 20x... Always consistent, always puts out great quality fish , always has friendly and quick service . Truly a gem!! My favorite is the mix don chirashi bowl

Extra special nigiri or chirashi is my comfort food choice regularly.. consistent quality and type of fish every time.

Sushi , sashimi chirashi bowls , combo meals ranging from bento boxes to more elaborate meals including braised hamachi , for eg.

The sushi rice here might be the best I've had in the Bay Area (that wasn't a michelin-star joint). What does this mean? Skip rolls and nigiri (blasphemy?!) and go straight for a chirashi bowl .

The fried calamari was delicious! It was cooked beautifully, and came with a spicy sauce that complimented it amazingly well . It was pretty cheap too!

no reservation but line was moving quickly. very reasonable price and quality.

Go for the specials. They get fish sent in from Tsukiji every day.

Try their makimono (roll) as I like the taste of their seaweed .

Combination dinner is HUGE. They have one of the best miso soups I've had.

Come early otherwise you'll probably wait for at least an hour during peak times

Not masters of their craft. Avoid. Menu items entice, then don't deliver . Fish not well selected or prepared. Omakase poorly sequenced. Should have known when I saw it was fixed # pieces with *a roll*

Don't get the shrimp tempura . It's the shrimp and some lettuce (wtf?) wrapped in rice . Not very good.
