Nice and quaint place. I like the concept. Food was good all around. The Kentucky fried oysters were yum. The fusion of the Japanese mayo with the lime leaf was a nice combination. Will be back.

Here is my super indulgent tip. Order the mentaiko spaghettini and the KFC oysters . Combine and eat! So good. I even added the special mayo on top of the pasta . The oysters add extra texture. Awesome!

I'm a fan of Fat Spoon and their new place Mei certainly did not disappoint! Sure, the food is pricey for the portion but it's tasty and fresh. Will be back to try other stuff on their menu 👍

Fried oysters are fresh and crispy , must order. Unagi onigiri is good too. They also have chocolate affogato with vanilla ice cream which is really nice, thick choc flavour. 👍Will be back for more

Good food! Price is a little steep but worth paying for the quality. Green tea creme brule with black sesame ice cream was quite delectable as well . Will return.

Summer bara chirashi has lots of crunchy veggies and scallop , yellowtail and salmon sashimi on a bowl of rice . Clean healthy tasty

Ox Tongue Rice @ Gyu tan don is goooood. They also have their signature desserts and fat hot choc from fat spoon. Gorgeous minimalist decor and lovely playlist.

Ox Tongue Rice (Mirin Sauce) and Fried Oysters were good. Incredibly cosy place although tad overpriced. Interesting menu though, check it out if you ever manage to find parking around here!

Unique, creative & quality Japanese-inspired dishes. I like the minimalistic design of the place-the menu is created in a way it's meant for sharing! Go with friends.

The moo moo rice bowl was good. Should try!! And ox tongue too, but hv to pay another price for onsen egg . Moo moo set has included the onsen egg

Most of the dishes tasted divine. The ikura seaweed guacamole is simply amazing. We also liked the light braised beef shortribs & radish is subtle in flavour rich in taste.

I kinda like their rice bowls but the price is on the high side considering the small portion. Probably my first and last visit. Nonetheless, the fried oysters & tamago rice bowl is pretty good 👍🏻

Hands down best damned hot chocolate . It's called the fat hot choc . The chicken poppers is worth it for the price as well . The moo moo bowl not so much. The beef was tough and flavourless

Moo moo rice bowl and the ox tongue one are the must ordered food of us.. The mixed sashimi rice bowl not bad too..

Ox tongue rice w mirin is extremely good!! Though I believe I could eat x10 of those bc the portion is extremely small. Pricey but good. Red juice is pretty okay too!

Their chempedak spring rolls is always a must 😏👍 everyone knows haha , nice environment and do try their lemongrass tea 😎

The rice bowls are yummy! Got the ones with beef and sashimi/avocado/fish roe . I'd come here more often if the price wasn't that steep.

Minimalist yet so quaint,friendly flr staff . staff understood my order;no salt for baby. staff also did not fuss when baby made mess to the floor & of course I cleaned up a bit. He stopped me halfway

On the pricier side for its portion, but didn't disappoint taste-wise, so far. New highlight is one of their latest addition; ikura , seaweed guacamole with papadum! Yum!

Nice & cozy place which serves value for money dishes though perhaps could improve on the portion. Everything came swiftly and tasted fairly good.

Fusion Japanese food . The beef taste more to Chinese type cooking. Tasted so-so. Salad was nice. Smoked duck + watermelon . Hot chocolate affogato was something different. The only like I give😜👍🏻

The best ox tongue and chempedak spring roll ever. Good for lunch or dinner . Closed on monday.

Moo Moo, Chicken poppers , Fresh Juices , Coffee , pumpkin fritters , soup were all great - gotta come back to try the test of the menu!

The roasted duck pasta wasss super good. The sauce was nice and has mushrooms , my fav!! U guys should try it!!

Love their green tea cake !! ❤️ although I do wish it had more green tea sauce

The food is comforting and we enjoyed the ambiance. A small cafe but attracts big heartssss. Love it, but they can try to do some promos sometime

The food here is nice, thumbs up for the fusion, it's a really new flavour which is oddly delicious, nice ambience just parking issues as usual

The selection of drinks were not bad.. If u dunno what food to order, the moo-moo rice bowl and Kentucky Oyster are a safe bet. P/s: Dont put too high expectations. :)

Guess you could call this Japanese Fusion . Interesting but personally wouldn’t come back. Had - Hokkaido scallop & lychee tartare , Moo Moo Rice Bowl ,Mentaiko Spaghettini .

Try the Moo moo rice bowl !!! You won't regret it!!! Basil beef with chili padi.

Sashimi apple salad is crunchy and fresh and pretty healthy

You can skip the rice dishes, pretty as they are. I enjoyed the Kentucky oysters tho. Yum

Like the lemongrass chicken poppers & lemongrass + pandan leaf tea . The Ox tongue rice bowl & the sashimi rice bowl was average.

Excellent focused menu, great food execution, reasonable prices and a well lit comfortable venue. Thumbs up.

Someone needs to do a great deal with the services here. Food is great. Loved the blondie and mentaiko but seriously, drinks order wrong 3 times and didn't bother to tell me, the glass of waters dirty

Crispy cempedak spring roll with vanilla ice cream is a bomb!

It is indeed rather pricy here but I do agree the fried oyster is pretty delicious & the passion fruit ice blended too :)

Poached eggs salmon rice and & salad with Apple are fantastic .. Things are good here 🤗

The ox tongue rice is pretty good and the price is not that expensive too, it's around RM21 and the portion is just nice

Light braised salmon head is new. Unusual but pretty good

Anyway is my one time here... the food ain't no big deal... any Japanese restaurant can get such food ... i still missed the old Fat Spoon at Uptown Damansara
