Suzuki Shokudo opened on 12/1. It's the latest restaurant by the owners of the Shabu Shabu 70 Japanese restaurant in the UES, Mr. & Mrs. Suzuki. The Ramen + 5pc Sushi w/ salad dinner combo is a steal.
Free order of chicken wings when you order wine , beer or sake (I think only at the bar ). Got salmon and fluke sushi with a salmon skin roll and all were delicious and fresh!
One of my old favorites to trek to from LIC. Great lunch specials (I prefer the sushi or bowls to their ramen ) and affordable omakase . The store owners are the friendliest old Japanese people!
