Understated and simple, Mochiron serves some of the best Japanese and Korean food I've had in the past ten years in NYC. Try all the yakitori and the kimchi jjigae (stew ).
Great menu— get some small plates and some shares. Sake selection is super solid, too. Nice spot on 30th Ave.
Delicious little addition to 30th Ave. The Monk Fish Liver cold dish is ace!
Nice cozy spot . Good ramen
This is hands down the best sushi I've had in queens, and easily some of the best in nyc. They also fly in fish from Japan which is nice. - Ari Fuchs
Suzuki Shokudo opened on 12/1. It's the latest restaurant by the owners of the Shabu Shabu 70 Japanese restaurant in the UES, Mr. & Mrs. Suzuki. The Ramen 5pc Sushi w/ salad dinner combo is a steal. - Kino
This place just opened a few weeks ago and SO glad we tried it. Best sushi I’ve had in awhile and the employees were super friendly! Great new addition to the neighborhood - Bonnie Smyth
The Astoria-specific flavor “Nectar of the Queens” is really, really good! Pairs well with the Pistachio Squared. - Colin M. Ford
Awesome beer selection. Cocktails are pretty good. Nice chill place to hang out. Check out the back outdoor area. - Charles Quirin
