Magnificent three course prix fixe pre-theater dinner at a hidden French bistro . Try the Steak Au Poivre , the Rabbit Ravioli or the Sausage with Lentils .
La Boite en Bois offers some delicious bites of Escargots Guillottine followed by the rich flavors of their Bastille Boeuf Bourguignon or a Coq au Vin Les Jacobins.
The roasted duck was amazing! Make sure to ask your waiter which French wine pairs well they are very knowledgable . Loved this place!!!
Great little French bistro . Perfect for a pre-theatre dinner . Very close to Lincoln Center .
Standard old school French restaurant that used to be the norm in nyc and now are vanishing. Nothing outstanding but a nice visit to the past before going to Lincoln Center .
Excellent cuisine. I had the strip steak which was perfectly prepared.
Excellent food cozy atmosphere and wonderful and attentive archive service
Seafood crepe appetizer ! Delish!
The prix fixe menu is brilliant
Some high quality poached egg with leek for brunch but desserts (cheese cake and creme broulee) worth skipping. Both very ordinary.
Wonderful creme brûlée
Great Sunday brunch place ! They have a prix fixe option, too!
Brunch on Sunday only. And don't come here with a stroller- they refused us service, allegedly 'because they are not licensed to let strollers in'. Plenty of excellent restaurants around.
Get the duck ! Amazing dinner with great friends! Thanks!
Mussels and fries !
Fantastic meal!
Delicious!! Small and tiny :)
old new York hidden on the upper west side- great French food in a tiny authentic neighborhood gem .
Soup is so amazing
Very small selection. Probably best to go elsewhere
